hey guys
How to enable and disable Javascript?
A search through the Settings finds nothing.
i think i'm really blind -
@sikeqiyo Go to
chrome://settings/content/javascript
to enable/disable JS for all sites. Click on the padlock (left of address field) to access site settings and enable/disable JS for a particular site. -
@hlehyaric On that note: Why do you have to go into the Chromium-UI settings, to control JavaScript? Why doesn't "Default Permissions" in the normal Vivaldi settings (under "Webpages) let you control JavaScript?

@Eggcorn This is because disabling JS is not something most users are expected to do. After all, it will likely break functionality of 99% of modern web sites

Just the opposite, in my experience. Disabling JavaScript fixes more websites than it breaks. Plus you can always enable JavaScript on the sites that need it.
