Resize pop-out video
-
With the latest version Vivaldi version 2.11.1811.33 it's nice and easy to pop-out a video. However, on my rig the maximum size is about a quarter of my screen real estate (55" OLED TV). Though it can be made smaller it cannot be made bigger. I find that a serious limitation, since we stream news and other stuff while one person may still use a browser on (a smaller) part of the screen.
My current better configuration is to use PowerToys' FancyZones where I have defined a suitable size for a pop-out made possible with a Chrome extension. I just throw the video onto the defined FancyZone and then I can even close the tab, while the video keeps playing (if YouTube).
This flexibility would have been nice to have included in Vivaldi, with the additional benefit of reducing the number of extensions.

A possibility for bigger PiP boxes would definitely be lovely!

@Hersir Using up to 50% of the window would make sense.
While you're waiting, tile a video with the active tab.

I don't see a reason to limit the size of the pop-up at all. I mean, having a limit serves zero purpose but to restrict usage; as far as I can see it doesn't really come with any pros.

I second this. Please make it resizable without limitations.
Also please add an option to "remember" the last size and/or a default size.
Whenever I pop out the window is as small as it can be again and again and I always drag to be as big as it can be.
Tedious. -

You should add such request Chromium tracker. When it is added to newer Chromium Vivaldi will get it from upstream.
I can see this with the resizing aspect but a "remember last size" feature seems like a user setting.
Sure Chrome could implement that too but Vivaldi too as a USP.
