This is very welcome news, especially now that ClipMate no longer saves the URL of clips made (it stopped several years ago, but sadly it is no longer being updated). I use this feature all the time, saving snippets of text for use in my translation work.
(Yet again, I've had to logout and login again in more than one place before I could get back here. This is very annoying and I cannot understand why I have to log in elsewhere to get back here as a logged-in user. It's probably me, I hear you thinking.) -
It works! However, it would be even nicer if we could turn on some sort of 'boing' or 'plop' or 'tick' to reassure one that the capture has been successful. Or have I missed something?

One click? Well - 3 clicks ...
... but we could argue that the the conversion is executed with final click

In my tech college, they request tasks to being developed in the web side, and since I have to test what I've developed in the browser, I annotate pretty much anything related (stuff to fix, what should be implemented, etc).
Using Vivaldi's notes increases my productivity because there's no need to open a third-party noting application, and it's better than Window's Sticky Notes.
Other good thing I consider is the tree view. Services like Google Keep only allows "tags" while Vivaldi's notes offers way more organization possibility -

Or also scripts, in CherryTree you can organize the documents also hierarchically in tree, that's why I thought it might be useful for you.

I would love to see this selection popup in the desktop builds. Please, make it happen!

You have to enable the clipboard history in the settings for that device.

The notes function is a highly useful feature. I use it a lot.
However a "Save Page As..." with a plain text option would also be of great use, as in O12. -
