good idea!
There are currently no browsers to do it!Now long press the label button only the "open tab" pop-up window description, it is too wasteful space, support long press new label.
Long press the new tab under the General tab; press the tab button under the Privacy tab to create a new privacy tab.I want to be able to long press the delete tab on the tab.

Great idea!

Maybe try implementing this instead (currently hidden behind a flag on Chrome Canary)

Also add to this in the options to switch to or go to now instead of going to the back ground.
-
Why would anyone want a new tab in the background? I can see opening a link in the background, but as far as I'm concerned it should always switch to new tabs.

Right now when you long press on a link and the options window shows, it says "open in new tab" it always goes to the background.
-
But this thread is about opening a new tab (with no URL), not about opening a link in a new tab.

@poto Kiwi browser and Uc support it
-
@poto Samsung Internet Browser has this functionality. I'd like to see the ability to long press the icon and be able to create a new private tab and access speed dial. Sesame helps a bit with this for now.
-
the only browser i know that supports this is kiwi browser. would really love to see this on vivaldi too...

When you long-press on the Tab Switcher button on the bottom toolbar it gives you 3 options:
- New tab
- New private tab
- Close tab
