Context menu item to download a link straight away to the default download location

In Opera 12, there was a nice feature when right-clicking in a link, there would be a context menu item "Save to Download folder" that would download the link target straight away without opening the save file dialog. I miss that feature.

Upvoted and also a personal addendum:
Would be great if there was a hotkey to press while clicking, or a mouse gesture, so that an image or an image link being clicked result in an instant and direct download to the default directory without having to go through the context menu and without the save as window popping up.

I remember there was such a feature in Firefox that instantly downloaded a picture (or the image from an image link) with a CTRL + Mouse Click, which I can't remember if it was default or from an addon as i've abandoned it for quite a while now.
