Solved Add "one click" bookmarking option
-
@rasheedholland The latest Stable version is 5.1.
Clicking outside of the dialog also adds the bookmark.
Shortcut Ctrl+D will add the bookmark directly, without showing the dialog.

BTW, forgot to reply but perhaps there was something wrong, it now does work as expected.

BTW, I have now also upgraded to Vivaldi 5.1 on my laptop and once again I'm seeing the problem that the dialog won't disappear when you click on some random place on the screen (inside the browser), seems to be a bug. But I see Vivaldi has released an even newer version, hopefully it is solved.

And I do have to wonder if this feature will ever be implemented, I mean come on, Vivaldi is all about details and giving users all kinds of options. It should work in the same way as Firefox, clicking on the bookmark icon in the addressbar should never bring up the dialog for users who don't need it.

And I now see that this topic has been moved, but to clarify it hasn't been solved at all. How to contact the moderators?
EDIT: Thanks for moving this topic again and I think I will have to make a bugreport, because it also happens on Vivaldi 5.2, not cool.

Come on guys, this is getting crazy what's so hard about adding this feature? We don't want to see the stupid bookmark dialog that we keep having to click away when bookmarking a website.

This feature is now available with the release of Vivaldi 5.6. To enable it, go to Settings > Bookmarks and uncheck:
Always Open Bookmark Dialog -

Too bad that it took so long to implement it. And it also seems there is a problem with this feature, will post about it in another thread.

@Pesala
Yes, it's better if you have to indicate where to save the bookmark if you are at least organized.
I don't understand why it should be the opposite by default!Oui parfaitement, c'est mieux si 'on doit indiquer où enregistrer le signet si on est un minimum organisé.
Je ne comprends pas que cela soit le contraire par défaut !
