[New] Update images for error pages (VB-52938)
RIP tony the lavaball.
Seriously?
@jon Why?! -
Search bar suggestions are cropped in popup window (VB-52616)
Very good, that was pretty annoying.
Num/Caps/Scroll Lock still interfere with keyboard navigation in search field dropdown but at least it's easy to workaround, awaiting for that to be fixed. -
@ROTFL heh, don't worry, vivaldi://dino is still there. For now
I don't mind the removal of the mascot from the error pages. -

About the ">" icon in the profile menu. To me, that means it will open a menu or slide-to- a new view within that little pop-up. Instead it opens a new tab which seems like it merits a different icon like a cog or "pop-up" icon.
This happens only if you have settings opening in a tab and is logged into sync.

[New] Add support for blocking ‘abusive’ Ads (VB-46155)
Am I to understand that this feature, rather than having a localized file, will be constantly communicating with Vivaldi servers to fetch the blacklist when visiting a site?
-
[New][Profiles] Add support for adding and deleting in the popup (VB-52800)
[New][Profiles] Allow editing of avatar within the popup (VB-51350)Great. I love the new popup. However, I would still like to be able to change the icon/display name of a synced profile from this popup. Additionally, this info is still displayed wrong in certain cases.
Popup as seen from synced profile.
Popup as seen from "Dog" profile. Notice how the icon and profile name do not match what I showed in the first image (Person 1 should be my synced profile).
Profiles as seen in Manage people. It also displays wrong.
Furthermore, using the Exit "Profile" button results in the older Manage people popup, which also shows the wrong icon/display name.
EDIT
I feel the need to reiterate that extension popups are still broken. You can only close one properly, and attempting to close any other fails.

Well, this snapshot (2.6.1546.4 (Official Build) (32-bit)) has brought back the problem I had logging into the Ubuntu Forums. A snapshot in 2.5 did seem to resolve this problem logging in with Ubuntu's SSO login, but it's now back with this snapshot. Previous snapshots after the "fix" and the stable release work fine, but this one has gone back to the broken behaviour. Works fine in Firefox.
Here's a thread I raised about this issue in the Vivaldi forums: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/17405/can-t-log-into-ubuntu-s-forum
Currently I'm in Windows 10, but later today I'll check with this Vivaldi snapshot on Ubuntu.
Edit: Now also affects stable. It didn't before today's update. Something in today's stable update that's in the snapshot? Maybe it's a change in Ubuntu forums that only affects Vivaldi?
BTW, the forum also works in Chromium.

@sjudenim Not constantly. It will periodically download this file: https://downloads.vivaldi.com/blocklist/current.json and check against that.
I'm not sure how frequently it updates.
-
@sjudenim it is a localized set of files (for me it's in "%localappdata%\Vivaldi\User Data\Subresource Filter") and for what I understood it's based on Easylist, which is already one of the lists used by uBlock Origin and other adblockers.

[Themes] Editor color picker misaligned (VB-52766)
This seems ok, but there is another thing now, in the color hex values fields now there is a "#" always overlaid the actual value, try removing the values and it's still there. When I removed all values, and clicked one of the color picking squares, the settings page went blank!
The error from the console is

Tony is just on vacation- he’ll be back -
Awesome, thanks for such a massive snapshot right up to a long weekend. Everything seems fine here so far
Happy 17th of May tomorrow! -
wow! lots of changes! good!

Hey, if you're going to add support for rgb headsets, why not just go all the way and support applications like iCue, MSI Mystic, ASUS Aura and etc. ;). While I am joking, this would be cool and would be a good marketing tool as many enthusiasts seem obsessed with RGB (I like RGB, but not really obsessed but prefer. I know someone who has RGB mouse, mousepad, headset ,headset stand, keyboard, case, etc.).
Anyways, keep up the good work!

Two problems I wanted to report are fixed before I did. Thanks a lot )

I noticed some stuff changed with the site info badge, and found a bug which is also present in 2.5:
Visiting https://expired.badssl.com/ makes the padlock flash red, then it changes to a symbol.
