I am able to reproduce the issue if I move Vivaldi in windowed mode from my Primary display (rightmost) to my third display (leftmost). If I change primary display to the leftmost, and relaunch Vivaldi, the dialog displays correctly.

Do you move your Vivaldi after launch onto another display?

Also, please be aware that setting your DPI (PPP) setting to "System" will make the application very blurry and pixelated. "System Enhanced" setting is a bit better but I'd recommend not doing it - Vivaldi should work correctly with DPI scaling.

Anyway, just report it, it can't hurt

I've installed the latest snapshot today and I have noticed find in page shortcut (Ctrl + F) stops working when developer tools is docked (haven't tried in a new window). I am testing code examples on http://javascript.info/ in the developer console. When I hit Ctrl+F, find in page dialogue opens but when I close it with escape, shortcut stops working.

Also not sure why but I can not post a comment/reply on blog. I always see Login button.

@Pathduck The issue depends on which screen Vivaldi is displayed. I have 2 screens (my laptop 15" and an external screen 24") each in 1920x1080, but the laptop is set to 125% scale in Windows / Settings / System / Display and the external is set to 100%. It's on this last one that the display issue appears.

the "open with" extension combined with Streamlink all in one allows the opening of a recalcitrant dailymotion video in mpc-hc or vlc: this workaround solution is quite practical

@hipeline ok good suggestion, but if I have to resort on using three additional softwares (python, the extension and streamlink) just to watch a video, I'll pass.
I can already play it in FF and download the videos with jdownloader2, if I really need to watch a video found only on DailyMotion, but that's not the point. The actual point is that Vivaldi is unsupported on DM for a good reason, it doesn't support whatever type of streaming they are offering, and that should ring some alarm bell in the dev team room.

If your "Tab Bar Position" = Left/Right/Bottom,
hold down the mouse button on the trash icon and you'll see the reason:
The mouse cursor is just on the "Clear All" item.
So if you release the button, "Clear All" will be triggered!

2.4.1468.4 doesn't have this issue, only because the menu won't appear till the mouse is released.
But I think "Clear All" being under cursor initially is "dangerous" after all. The best solution is to change the trash menu position.

So before they fix it whatever way, you have to hold down the mouse and then move it away...

@vias A developer is on this. In the meantime, right-click is safe, if you can remember to do it. Opens the menu without clearing the closed tabs.

I'm very close to making vivaldi my main browser. What's left now is that it needs to be more stable. The browser often freezes up with 5+ tabs

The last 3 Snapshots, this one included, have had broken H.264/MP4 when run in Firejail, but are ok if run naked. There has been no recent FJ update, so the change is definitely due to these Snapshots. I've been unable to discover which part of the current V-SS FJ profile is now incompatible with these recent SSs, so for the past few weeks i have reverted to Stable [in FJ]. I sincerely hope that the next Stable will not inherit this V bug.

Additionally, per a previous post of mine, these last few SSs have also broken the basic Linux paste-from-middle-click function inside text-entry fields. This also remains fine in Stable.

Hm. Wonder how you mange that. I can't make mine do it.

@ayespy: It basically freezes up for about 30secs or a minute, then unfreeze itself. I get this quite often. I have 16 GB RAM as well
