Please add an option that makes doing a right click on the new tab [+] button perform an instant "paste and go" into a new tab, instead of showing the context menu. This is a feature that Maxthon browser already has and it is very handy.

On old Opera it was middle-click ... as right-click is normally a context menu I think I prefer that,

@TsunamiZ The new tab button is a small target. It would be better if Middle-click on Tab Bar Opened Tab with URL or Search Text

If there is nothing in the clipboard Middle-click should open a new tab

@sgunhouse Every item on the context menu is redundant, though. All are available on the Tab Context menu.

i still much prefer the right click to do this, as i originally requested. right click is more convenient and easier to press than middle click. and the items in the context menu are redundant anyways.

I guess it can be "Modifiable" inside settings.
users can choose which function when they right/middle click on the tab-bar or new tab button

I'm new to the browser XD and is getting really frustrating when you right-click on the new tab "[+]" button and it opens a context menu XD I've got really used to, just copy a link and right click to it, even the function "paste and go" is overly complicated for me that got use to only do a right click for years :Y

So I totally understand and want that feature, also the right click on tab to closed it and shift+right click on tab to context menu would be nice to have :'v

It is a handy feature in Maxthon but I suspect devs don't want to ditch the context menu and many don't have a middle-click so....

add double-click on the New Tab (+) btn for Paste & Go to new tab

                      AND

add double-click on whole Bookmarks Bar to Paste & Go to new tab

I also want this feature. You have to click anyway the + button to open the tab and later move the mouse to address bar with right button and click paste and go.

So if you have to click anyway the + button this function will save a lot of time.

With this feature: go to + button and only 1 click with right button
Without the feature: go to + button and 1 click with left button, move to address bar, 1 click with right button, find the option on menu, click with left button.
