Please add user option to move menu button on the upper right corner, like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

It is very difficult to make CSS modifications and keep updating them with each Vivaldi release update.

      Thank you!

@gigel2007 Thread moved to Settings, and title edited to be concise.

          Hello Vivaldi.

Because of this issue you're still just the browser that could have been, and the browser that is not my main browser. Since my initial filing of the issue, the only time I've opened Vivaldi is to check if an update would have fixed this. Years later we are still stuck.

The solution proposed in https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/17152/please-allow-moving-the-v-menu-to-the-far-right-corner-like-all-modern-browsers/2?_=1626646655903 is simply unacceptable - it requires complicated user alteration of configuration files.

It's quite ironic that a browser that promotes itself as highly configurable is so stubborn against the idea of allowing user to make some clicks in the settings to move that button.

@gigel2007 Stubbornness has nothing to do with it. It is just not feasible to implement every feature request when there are so many of them (over 4,000).

CSS modification are not always complicated. I use a few that are really quite simple. It is the best solution for requests that have very few votes after many years.

It is no longer necessary to update CSS modifications with each release. In Settings, Appearance, Custom CSS Modifications, select a folder for custom CSS files.

I keep several modifications in a single file named custom.css and keep backups whenever I make any changes. I have a bookmark to vivaldi://restart to quickly test any changes.
