@Gwen-Dragon Yup.
It will take some time to open 23 tickets so I'll do it after work... -
@mohamadeen: Hey, you could check the trash icon (right-side on the address bar / buttom if you have tabs on the side), it will keep previously closed windows for the next two restarts, or until you've closed 25 more tabs afaik.
-
Is anyone else having issues opening saved sessions in new windows? Is that related to other already mentioned issues, or worth a new report?
-
@folgore101: Confirmed here too, thanks for the report

@Folgore101 Confirmed. When Floating panel is selected, it's not possible to drag bookmarks in Bookmarks Panel or notes in Notes Panel.
MacBook Pro Early 2015 / macOS 10.12.6 Sierra / Vivaldi 2.3.1420.4
Thank you.

@frommhold: Good find.

I'm having problems with pages that appear blank and never load. This has happened to me 6 or 8 times today. Thus far, none of the pages in question are anything I can give you a link to though.
-
I have to correct myself here. The blank pages are a display problem not a problem with pages loading. Minimizing the Vivaldi window than normalizing it again fixes it, at least until I choose to look at a different tab.
-
Thanks for this. I really like that I can finally see the passwords without typing the whole chrome://settings/passwords thing.
However, this built is kind of unstable for me. The issue seems to be with notifications, or with opening links from other apps, Twitter UWP for example. It's not 100% consistent though, but also didn't happen in previous builds at all.
What happens is Vivaldi freezes and I have to force close it with the X on the peek preview from the taskbar. Alt-F4 on the window is not working, nor was Ctrl-TAB or other shortcuts. The app is not crashed entirely, because I can hear the Youtube video playing when I open a YT notification. I can't see the video tab though. Since there are no hard crashes, there are no dumps in AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Crashpad\ either.
By notifications, I mean the Action Center notifications from Windows 10 1809, to clarify. For example, when you get a reply to a YT comment or when there's a new video etc.
-
@t0yz I can confirm this issue too of Vivaldi freezing when opening external links
-
@Serket Thanks. It's not that consistent, I clicked a notification just now and it opened correctly. Have no idea what exactly causes it.
-
Not able to check for update behind proxy.
Edit: Nevermind it :D, my corporate software was blocking it. -
@Steffie Vivaldi freezes for a few seconds. Scrolling stops working, input fields stop working. If you switch to another virtual screen then back to Vivaldi (under Linux) the freeze ends. f you do not do that, then it stops for about 5 seconds. Others have reported this before.
-
VB-46818 The issue of popup menus stopping working is still not fixed. This includes trying to reopen closed tabs.
-
Having been using the "confirm close" for a while now, I feel like it needs a little bit of extra "intelligence".
For example, if I've just closed the last tab in a window, and I then close the window itself, maybe it shouldn't prompt me about it.
-
@bib_vivaldi Possibly you meant to post that to someone else? Otherwise I can't fathom what your description has to do with my query re:
[Settings] Add option to keep last selected search engine
-
Someone tested the internal PDF viewer?
I see a dead bird (single tab) when I try to open in the previewer.Guess is an IDM bug. -
Window still not maximized after minimizing, going back to 2.3.1400.4.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Seems to be a bug in IDM extension - which is actually known to have some issues in newer chromiums.
Unchecked "browser intergration" and now pdf viewer is working. -
@kknight: I'm seeing something similar.
