As far as I know, as of now (v3.7), Vivaldi uses it own internal password manager rather than using macOS's keychain. Or is there some way to have it use macOS's keychain ? Maybe using a 3rd party password manager extension ???

I wish so much Vivaldi could use macOS's keychain to store/update passwords, as proposed in this feature request. I got all my passwords in MacOS's Keychain, and there are synched through iCloud to my other Apple devices. I wish V could use macOS's keychain rather than having it own separate password store...

Both very important.

In addition, it should have strong import export and be Open source! No vendor lock in. Also, if it is open source members of the community can help.
Overall, not too hard, as iOS apps can be coded in react. However, some sort of iOS keyboard would be necessary, and a web vault. The iOS app could just be the web vault with access to the native password manager.

I agree with the author, at least I personally need:

easy access to passwords (via the sidebar) for searching and editing
cataloging by folders
password generator according to the required parameters

I need it more than the built-in email client or calendar

Vivaldi should integrate Proton Pass like they did with Proton VPN.
