One Button to Close Panels

I'd like there to be one button to close panels. Now I have to mentally think which panel is open. Clicking icon for wrong one opens another panel.
If there was one icon to "Close Panel" I would not have to think about which one is open.

@dplaut There is a button on the Status Bar at bottom left. F4 shortcut will do the same.

This is similar in nature to https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24167/shortcut-for-closing-currently-open-panel (but not a duplicate as this is about a button).
Rather than hiding panels completely, it is about closing the currently open one while leaving the panel toolbar open.
