Auto-Reload Options
-
I use a Chrome plugin for this already, ChromeReloadPlus, but I would love for it to become a standard feature
-
@Pesala But it does not work on sub path or different param.
If set on domain.com, it does not work on domain.com/path or domain.com?param=value. -
Vivaldi 3.4 now offers periodic reload options, accessible from the tab context menu: https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-3-4-desktop/

Copy-paste from report VB-73190:
======================
Tab reload is too poor:
I wish I could remove the tab reload extension from V 3.4, but sadly I have to continue using it.
Super Auto Refresh extension vs Vivaldi refresh:
Super Auto Refresh: 2-5-10-30 seconds, 1-2-3-5-8-10-30-60 minutes.
Vivaldi refresh: 1-2-5-10-30 minutes.Please add more refresh options to make the Vivaldi refresh as rich as "Super Auto Refresh".
I suggest having 1-2-5-10-30 seconds, 1-2-3-5-10-30-60 minutes.Also, please add the opportunity to set a custom number of seconds/minutes.

@Agych
If you would like seconds, please vote for: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/51688/periodic-reload-in-secondsIf you would like a custom time:
open quick commands (F2), typing "Period Reload" (no quotes), a space, and then a number, this will set the reload period in seconds. Minimum is 1 minute. -

open quick commandsI meant a usual simple way via the Reload context menu together with minutes and seconds, and configurable to be either seconds or minutes
-
@Agych Having a custom entry in the context menu would be helpful for people who don't use quick commands, I agree.
Unfortunately for now QC is the only way.
-
@Agych Would also be useful if these reload settings were saved upon restart.
-
Yes, I think this is a great feature but I'd want it to persist between restarts. And the timer should reset if the page is manually reloaded, but it shouldn't turn it off.
