Can't log in to blog

When I am trying to log in to blog (or to vivaldi.net overall), I get a page with WP logo that says

ERROR: Failed user creation.

Will I ever see my blog again? And what happened to the photo albums?

@gwen-dragon I have the same problem since this feature came out. First I thought the issue is on my side, but when I tried it with 2 non Vivaldi browsers, both completely reset, it didn't work out either. But thought I wait till it is officially released until I complain. But now seeing this I'd like to join in

@gwen-dragon Thank you @Gwen-Dragon and Jane.N. The issue was a mismatch with my backup emails, if I understood correctly. The blog had a different e-mail than my account at the community. Or something.

@ersi How can this be? When signing up to the forums you provide a backup email -- and this email can't be changed without the help of a community manager.

@luetage I vaguely remember that at some point long ago I have changed the email, but the system here has always had different modules, therefore the mismatch. This is the explanation I am coming up on my own.

What I was told is "the email in the blog environment didn't match the email in the system." Your reason may not be necessarily the same.

@Ayespy There is an empty Media section in Dashboard. Is my former photo album retrievable from somewhere or do I have to start it again from scratch?

@ersi It should be transferred over. If not, the email mismatch thing might be related. I can't be sure.

After seeing several illustrations that hint about blog not universal deployment It is difficult to judge blog features from a single seat. I can say that only recent did photo albums reappear in i_ri' account. images are back for me now. Do not expect everyone to be the same. yes, luetage, still no address appearing you ever had a blog. ersi we are glad you got signed-in.

I'm able to log in now -- a community manager (@jane.n) contacted me and told me the solution. In my case it wasn't the email, but simply the fact that I hadn't input my name on the "edit" site. Apparently you need both a first and last name for this to work.

So for anyone with the same problem.

Go to https://login.vivaldi.net/profile/editUser?username=yourusername (keep it lowercase)
Input first and last name and hit "Update"
Log out
Delete all Vivaldi cookies
Restart Browser
Log in on the community website
