Internet Explorer 6 Theme
-
Experimental theme that tries to make vivaldi look like ie6.
Icons, and in part idea, stolen from: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/mozxp/ (Which I guess also stole them from microsoft)
Features:
- Changes main toolbar and panel icons to those used in IE6
Installation
Via.custom.css
File is too large to post on vivaldi forums, please download directly from here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LonMcGregor/VivaldiMods/master/disabled/ie6.cssAnd set this vivaldi theme:
Background: #f6f6f6 Foreground: #000000 Highlight: #3f9ac5 Accent on non-transparent tabs: #c2dbe3 Dont pick page colour accent Lots of radius rounding
Q&A
- Why? I was bored and wanted to see how it would turn out. Not terribly, as it happens.
- Why is the css file so big? Because rather than bother fiddling about with storing images in the vivaldi resources folder, I embedded them directly into the css using base64.
- What next? Β―\(γ)/Β―

This is a new level of ugly, job well done -

That's hilarious. Still, I bet someone wants it. Eventually, we will have hundreds or thousands of such "skins."
-
