Thank you <3... You made my Vivaldi beautiful.
There is only one thing left to make it perfect i.e. Adding/Editing/Showing Reminders on the start page... Hope someone will make it one day and make Vivaldi much more powerful...

@smerugu28 This topic is mostly obsolete now, because toolbar buttons can be changed native. It still serves as a basis for changing non‐toolbar svg icons though. A special case is the account button, which is in the toolbar, but can’t be switched out through settings.

@LonM love this simple hover animation. Tried it on latest Vivaldi version but it looks like selectors are different now. I got the hover animation to work with these selectors
/* sync & trash lid hover animation */ #tabs-container > div.toolbar.toolbar-tabbar.sync-and-trash-container > div > button:hover span > svg > path:nth-child(2) { transform: rotateZ(30deg) translate(3px, -12px); }
not sure if <transform: translate> values are the same for everyone but I had to make little adjustments to get the animation to look right on my side
