Shuffling of extensions – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.9.804.3

It seems that you do not use the private viewing mode at all. The bug wanders from version to version, and nothing is fixed.
Bug # 1:
In private mode, if you close the tab, and then choose to restore it, the tab will be opened in a normal window.Bug # 2:
The "whole page screenshot" function makes an empty screen on the page with the canvas. How quickly to check? Go to the site agar.io and make a screenshot from the game.Bug # 3:
Probably somehow connected with the "bug number 1". In a private window, disable the uBlock extension on some tab and click (in the uBlock menu) the "reload page" button. Instead of reloading the tab in a private window, the active tab that is opened in the normal window is reloaded. Also noticed that several times the open private window saved the previous session. That is, according to the logic, all data (cookies, history, etc.) entered in a private window, on closing it should be deleted, but this did not happen (or did not happen completely).
-
@cba: Had the same problem in one of my installations, but the other did not had this problem. Or at least I did not notice and once I restarted it reloaded everything fine.
-
@pesala: It's "fixed" in Brazilian Portuguese
-
@duarte-framos: The only way I know is to temporarily disable shortcuts
-
@juniorsilva30 @wasgij6
You are probably not using "Start from previous session".I believe it's because the other options do not load the previous session where the pinned tabs are.
-
@d0j0p:
Change #1: When the webview is resized now it only resizes the current tab, not all of them.Change #2: A "trick" to make React re-layout lists less times.

Bug # 1:
In private mode, if you close the tab, and then choose to restore it, the tab will be opened in a normal window. As Private mode does NOT create entries in the trash when a tab is closed, the only entries which can be restored are from the "normal" window.

So again, it operates in the "normal" Window - which you also have open.
Seems these operations should be disabled when in Private Window, I guess this is probably what you are seeing as a bug.

@dLeon Short and simple, no silly "wanna be cool/look like your bro" string.

But it was not for him to work that way, he does not need to check this option. In other browsers it's not that way ... I hope it's not that way that Vivaldi handles fixed tabs when you open it.
-
@iAN-CooG You probably startup with last session.
-
browsr.html has changed so make sure to look at the new default one and alter your custom one or Vivaldi won't start.
-
@g_bartsch It's safer to always edit the new one. Do you usually just replace it?

I'm finding that this snapshot is taking up less resources.
I will give it time but this is my immediate impression.
-
@luetage I have been simply replacing the new one with my altered one for some time now. This is the first time it failed since I made mine. This indicates it hasn't changed since I made my altered version. I'll be more watchful from now on.
-
@An_dz Yes, thought about it too, unfortunately it is also very unpractical.
-
Since you are working on screenshots, is there a mechanism in this set of releases to do renaming to a configurable set field, such as in the Nimbus and Fireshot screen capture extensions?
-
[Gestures] Mouse Gestures open links from closed tabs (VB-23017)
VERY NICE!
Also, have you guys been able to find the HTML5 Video Flickering (and Browser Crash) with Hardware Acceleration Enabled? It is driving me nuts! Disabling Hardware Acceleration (how I have been using it for the past 3 months or so unfortunately) would crash sites such as Twitch from time to time, and use too much CPU.
I am again willing to provide as much information as possible to find and fix this issue: VB-24820
-
@d0j0p: Not in 1.9, I would think, but it is on our list.
-
@dystasia: Apparently the crash is also happening with Chrome: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/5dkuq1/videos_keep_crashing_and_giving_me_green_screens/
Note: I also have a GTX 1070.
But the flickering is unique to Vivaldi. Will try to post a video of it to demonstrate.

thx you very much with those two major features!
