This should be addressed as soon as possible before 1.7 stable or as a delta for 1.6Address (URL) of faulty page:
https://www.primevideo.comExpected behaviour:
I expect Vivaldi to have the latest version of Widevine Content Decryption Module so i cam use a browser i love with content i pay forActual behaviour:
Videos do not play on some services and i have to switch browsers to use those servicesVivaldi version:
1.6.689.40Operating System:
Windows 7 (x64)
other folks have reported somr video sites not working and entering a endless loading loop some have suggested that changeing the user agent works but all im suggesting is that the module be updated to current version just see if that solves the issue if it does not then the team should explore other options we cant just ignore it and yet we seem to be -
Awesome Update. I really love the new history overview. Dedicated colors for the diagram would be pretty nice.
Thank you very much and have a good weekend.Greetings from Germany

so can we please work on this issue i don t want to be a pest and i love Vivaldi wither we like it or not millions of people use DRM video all im asking is the team put this sort of issue higher on the list of necessary issues to address i hate being "that guy" but the issue is a very important long standing one

Then don't be. Try to understand that an issue that affects you, may be of no concern to others at all. Report bugs (once is usually enough), and wait patiently for fixes. Let the developers decide what the priority is among the tens of thousands of issues that affect other users. They are in a much better position to assess objectively the number of users that a particular issue affects, and to know how much work is needed to fix it.

@webgeek: Confrimed on the password thing. Disabling password saving in chrome settings (chrome://settings/search#p) will stop it from annoying you.
-
Please make the search field in the History tab a bit longer
-
@janaco I proposed a few posts back Middle Clicking the sidebar tab icon for opening vivaldi://history/ history in a new tab, just like the other regular user added web panels.
Maybe upvote it to show the the devs there is interest in this feature

@duarte-framos
Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but we had the same idea, so upvote maybe. -
Very cool. In fact, this one of the most compelling features I've seen for Vivaldi yet. I am particularly excited about the ability to generate graphs visualizing browsing history over a selected amount of time and how this will allow me to monitor my own (often unconscious) Internet habits. This allows people to make corrective shifts to time-draining practices. (I have been reading Cal Newport lately, so this is of special interest.)
Moreover, let me just add that I have never heretofore cared about syncing my browser across devices (a feature Vivaldi does not yet support). However, history-tracking functions like this would be even better, needless to say, if they could factor in all your browsing across computers and mobile devices.

I still use opera 12.17 for my emails. Can't wait to be implemented in Vivaldi. I wish to be able to put my bookmarks in drop down list like in old opera. Will there be option to add more rows and columns to speed dial? Great job so far by Vivaldi team I love it.

Hi,
though I usually only search in the history, sometimes even that can get easier now because of the additional calendar views on the visited pages.
Highlighting the Link Transition Types is a smart idea.anyone

@dleon: thanks!

Pretty cool to see what I worked on mirrored in these stats.

It is very sad that vivaldi doesn't consider Bookmark with TAGGING feature and had been request from Firefox user about year ago.... Why people still stick on Firefox but not Chrome (as well as vivaldi) because Firefox bookmark manager is killer feature and Chrome not did it. I believe many firefox user like me having 3K+ bookmark and Web browser being a knowledge library.
-
@Ueno What it's really very sad is that some people like you just whine about their own needs and not see the constant and huge work it's being done by the small team in Vivaldi.
-
Unfortunately, the filter does not include search per site!
-
@dleon: If I remember only the site in which I saw something or the site from which I downloaded something but I forget the date (which could be several weeks ago) how can I search?
-
@mib2berlin: It WAS Vivaldi, though I can't say how. All the visible RAM values were in the megabytes but totaling 97 %. When I closed the browser it went down to 8%
