Feature requests for 1.8 / 1.9

Open link in tiled tab
It could be easier to use the tiled tab feature if it was possible to open a link tiling it to an already opened page.
-
Open a new tiled blank tab
We could have the option to open a new tab tiling it to the current active tab.
-
@Pesala Thanks. Done already.

Community Contribute Popup Killer/Blocker List
Currently there are no 100% guarantee method to identify all popup mechanically, especially the 0day new popup method. So, i think it would be great if we all can collaborate in reporting unwanted popup we encountered to Vivaldi server & build a collective popup blacklist to enhance the popup blocker.

Capture/Save as Office Document
Capture webpage as PNG is the new selling point for Vivaldi.
Now how about HTML to PDF & ODT?Here is an example:

Search Notes & Downloads in Quick commands
In Quick commands (F2) is already possible to search bookmarks and history.
To make it more universal, it could be nice to extend it also with notes and downloads. -
Cross-Tab content search
In a single tab we can search in the page content.
A huge improvement could be that we would be able to search in page content between ALL opened tabs or in just specific tab group. -
Find in all tabs, or find in Tab Stack might be useful. I submitted it as a Feature Request via the Bug Report Wizard (yes, that's OK too), in April 2016 as:
(VB-14933) Feature Request: Find in Page searches entire Tab Stack

@Pesala said in Feature requests for 1.8 / 1.9:
@g_bartsch That was the idea, and why I suggested replacing the triangle icons with the folder icons. A single click on the triangle icon does expand and collapse the folder.
Thinking more we do not need the triangle. I find it hard to pick. Picking the folder is much easier.

@ArchCarrier Not possible when tabs at side or bottom. Only the tabs go into the at top - not the adress bar.
Yes, but very useful when tabs panel is on left or right.
-
Option to Disable Animated Images
Maybe this is hidden somewhere in Chrome settings, but I don't see it in Vivaldi's settings. It should probably be on the Images flyout on the Status Bar.
-
It would be nice to see more of the concepts explained in this article integrated into the newly designed history feature. Specifically the graph that shows how your history and search results are connected to each other.
-
Ability to hide both Horizontal Main Menu and Vivaldi Button or move Vivaldi button to another toolbar (address bar, panel).
When I move all bars to bottom there is only an empty row at the top of the browser.
-
New functionality for the new macbook pro retina (touch bar and force touch support).
-
@dLeon Loved this idea! Hope it is added soon.
-
@Jargonius This is just amazing! Would LOVE to have this incorporated in Vivaldi soon... Although this would make v1.7 quite redundant...
-
@Pesala I know that you might know already, but I can work with pressing Win+Down twice in Windows...
