Is there a lot of disk accessing going on?

The last snaphots are very good! Vivaldi becomes always better. It has some little annoyances (extensions, speed dial), but the browser-feeling (speed, memory usage, smooth rendering, etc…) is quite well. Now I use it most in time. :lol:
Only one big problem for me: I can't it install without administration rights unlike to Opera offline version.

On my previous post I have NO idea why someone would give a thumbs down on a problem that doesn't just involve a tab move, mouse gesture, smiley face, or not the right tab color etc. That as a problem is all-right to post work on that one.
I think I and TWO others ( there were more but just gave up) NOT BEING able to use Vivaldi for SEVERAL builds AT ALL is a far more SERIOUS problem than any small posted bugs. Surly MOST REASONABLE people would agree.

Thanks FAR better comment and a help….I was just trying to dissect what I did. Too long ( was trying to give as much material that I understood to help), possibly to correct the problem. Hard to do when it fails so quickly. I appreciate your support and understanding.

I don't think so have a pretty clean drive I keep it that way. It's an SSD don't see drive light anyway. Is there any other way to tell as in Win Taskmaster?

It is on our list. Not everything on our list will make the beta or even 1.0, but our goal is to give you the flexibility to get Vivaldi just right for you!

NPAPI Flash is being deprecated in Chromium/Blink and will soon be unsupported by this branch of the browsing world, entirely. So it is not enabled in Vivaldi. PPAPI flash works fine. You probably need to download PPAPI and give it global permissions in your browser, while turning off any permission that exists for NPAPI flash for Vivaldi.
There are some web pages that run critical applications (like Silverlight) which are written to use NPAPI only. These pages are disappearing from the web since Chrome announced it was deprecating NPAPI, but some exist - even on government portal sites, etc. For these, you just have to use a different browser until the owners of those pages catch up with the times.

Hmmm. You can enable the bookmarks bar and it will be just above the web content. You can also place that address bar at the bottom. Maybe that will give you what you want?

Not sure if I get this. We have bookmarks bar, bookmarks panel, bookmarks manager, speed dials (visual bookmarks) and notes. I am sure we can add more, but I think we have covered a fair amount of ground. But we will continue to add things so you can all get things your way.

It can never be overstated the amount the small, yet extremely talented Vivaldi team has been able to achieve in the past year with their browser. I am absolutely shocked at the fantastic feat they've managed to accomplish in a year, and I'm not even a coder!
When you think about what they've done, you wonder, can anyone else have done that? Never seen that happen, so I'm not sure it's possible. The VB numbers are in the high 9000's . . .
That means . . . it's over 9000!!!

Just want to congratulate these guys, and to tell them that I really appreciate what they've done for us, and for me. I now have an amazing browser I'm really happy with and have learned how to use the web in a whole new way.
Vivaldi is not just another browser. It's going to be the most innovative, efficient, versatile, customizable, fastest, leanest, prettiest looking browser and the Chromium engine will end up improved by them or they will use their own engine at some point.
Start your marketing team, guys, cause this browser is takin' names!

Me too . . . since about 2 snapshots ago, I lose my Speed Dial thumbnails upon clicking on them at the start of a fresh install.
I hate that, and I usually leave my Speed Dial thumbnails stock because they'd look ugly otherwise. I would love it if this were rectified before the Beta release.

That code is for Firefox, "-moz" won't work in any other browser that doesn't use the Geko engine.
