Snapshot 1.0.303.32 - Beta Candidate
-
1. I just need Sync before Vivaldi become my default browser.
2. Please use Chinese(Simplified)/Chinese(Traditional) instead of Chinese(China)/Chinese(Taiwan)Thank for your efforts!

He said he added it.

All seems good enough now for a Beta. Just a couple of usability issues from Opera 12.17 still missing that would be nice to fix if they are easy to do.
Mouse Gestures:
GestureDown = Open link in background page | Go to end | New page
GestureUp = Open link in new page | Stop | Go to start | Close pageMinimize Tab on Click (to quickly switch to recent tab and back).
Middle-click to open new tab or even better "PageBar Open URL On MiddleClick"

Some suggestions:
- Add a column to the bookmarks manager to sort by date added/bookmarked
- Add an option to bookmark in just one click to a predefined folder (like unsorted bookmarks and the heart button on Opera).
- Improve the history and extensions page style, right now is very barebones and too similar to Chrome and not fitting to the Vivaldi Style.
I used Vivaldi this morning after 3-4 months without doing so and it feels a lot more stable and reliable and it seems the little details have been ironed out and i look forward to using it more in the future. Those three things were some of the things i missed (Opera user).

As a previous power user of Opera, I am excited as ever to be a part of the final days of the Technical Preview. I can't wait for the Beta, and have had this as my default browser now for well over 2 months now. Your team is the best set of devs that the online community has at the moment, and it shows

I've been banging on, about Cache storage, Form Completion etc., etc., for ages, but their
only concern seems to be TABS; Not sure just how much work is progressing, outside of
Chrome; Maybe there could be some Feedback from time to time. -
Just installed windows 10 and looks like it's big. Vivaldi stops working and shows only DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET on every page u try to load. meanwile, edge and chrome works as usual.

+1. And Gesture↳ = Close Tab

Lag between pinned tabs ( email12.secureserver.net , and live.com) is crazy bad. Never had this issue till this latest snapshot. Just an FYI

Ha. I'd like to think they're just Jedi masters.

[Windows 10, Vivaldi 1.0.303.32 (32bit)]
FYI: A strange bug that I am unable to reproduce though: In Windows 10 I have set up two desktops. Two Vivaldi windows are open (normal and private). One on each desktop. Suddenly windows started to rapidly (like 10 times per second!) switch between both vivaldi windows back and forth. After several attempts to close one window (by pressing [Alt] + [F4]) I succeeded and the strange behaviour stopped. Don't know if it's a Vivaldi or a Windows issue but since it stopped after closing one of the Vivaldi windows I thought it might be of some interest to you guys…?Another tiny suggestion I have: would it be possible to redo the Vivaldi "About"- and "Seetings"-pages so that they are styled dark when the dark theme is selected?
Vivaldi FTW!

Even with the latest release, I am still losing my Speed Dial thumbnails. However, I found out what the problem is.
Prior to closing my Vivaldi browser, I always run the 'Clear Private Data' function. It is this function that wipes out my Speed Dial thumbnails.
If I do not run the 'Clear Private Data' function, my Speed Dial thumbnails remain.
-
Unfortunately for the last 2, 3 build including this one I can not longer use this browser due to the memory issue. There's a lot of usage on my disk. I'll wait for a fixed version. Too bad because I used vivaldi as a main browser for a long time and I have never had such problems.
-
There should be a way now too, but it would involve fiddling with the CSS of the UI, which will be overwritten at each snapshot install…
-
This page is a bad example
The page itself is built to adapt to the screen width and throws out everything that is not necessary for reading the main content as soon as the screen width becomes to narrow.
Test:
Just close the panel and make the window narrow enough and you'll see the same effect (You can verify it with another browser too if you make the window narrow enough) -
Thanks again for the snapshot! Love it!
There's a UI bug that happes sometimes: When I switch to another tab using the Ctrl-Tab shortcut, sometimes the preview (the visual tab changer, or whatever that is in english) sticks on the screen, as if I still had Ctrl pressed. It only goes away after clicking on the page or using Ctrl-Tab again. That seems to happen while loading heavy pages like 9gag, and never after the page is loaded completely.
And some feature requests, if I may:
- I'd like to be able to close the settings dialog by pressing the Escape key. Seems to be more appropriate than Ctrl-F4
- Could we get back the possibility to close tabs by Shift-Clicking on them? That came very handy in some situation.
- And finally: Minimizing tabs by clicking on them! Might be just old habits, but that was a very nice way to quickly switch back and forth between two tabs.
Thanks for your great work!

Keyboard shortcuts work for me on my LMDE Cinnamon and Siduction Xfce machines (<- yes, those are both Linux) and on my Win machines. Some online friends reported that they work on Mac too.
I can't confirm the minute or two 4*100% either, despite I am opening about 30-50 tabs from the last session on each start.
For me it sounds as if either your install went terribly wrong or if something is fundamentally broken in your OS.BTW:
I wish that only dozens of bugs were open - the developers probably too - but on the other hand: They have already fixed incredible thousands of really important bugs in the meantime with their little team - most bugs died unnoticed by the public, just look at the VB numbers in the changelog to get an impression about how many - and they have already laid the foundation for Mail and other stuff. -
[Windows 10, Vivaldi 1.0.303.32 (32bit)]
Tiny bug I found: I have two Vivaldi windows open. When adding marked text as a notice it is added twice. I was curious and opened a third Vivaldi window. When adding a notice from marked text it is added three times now. -
Confirmed and bugged with credits as VB-10232

It isn't translated, but it works for me.
