Snapshot 1.0.233.3 - Reload bypassing cache shortcuts and a visual clue for Rewind

Tiny suggestion: When panels are placed on the right the statusbar should also display the panel button on the right side.
Something else I already wrote some time ago: When tabs are on the side the pinned tabs should be displayed the way they are displayed when tabs are on top (small favicon boxes ontop of the other tabs. Side by side, when more than one).

Hello Developers,
Great work on this snapshot, it is running smoother and faster. Did you guys made any optimizations, this snapshot consumes less memory. Regarding the rewind button I have a suggestion:
–--> Whenever the users takes the mouse cursor over to the rewind button, the URL to which the browser can rewind to can be shown in the bottom taskbar, this will most probably make it easier for new users confused about it function, the ones who don't read the development blog. <----
Thanks again for the new snapshot.:D

If you're on Windows, you could try ClipCube, I found it handy for researching. Text-only clipboard manager, autosaves links, notes are taggable and mergeable (for copying out).
Anyway, good ideas for Vivaldi! +1

Thanks. I didn't know about that. I have the address saved as a bookmark so typing the beginning of "extensions" into the address bar is actually a little faster for me.

You can manage your passwords at vivaldi://chrome/settings/passwords

Win 7 64 Bit, 233.3 Viv
I had same problem the global UI size setting. Scale does not work or lock on when in setting it is set for 110% new tabs or old do NOT resize correctly.
Anxious to see end product that I know is far away….I will NOT be happy to HAVE to change to Windows 10 and induces new problems. So far updating I could care less about as long as it WORKS!
Thanks guys...and gals??

Win 10 appears to change your Vivaldi experience approximately 0%. Except that the better resource management of win10 seems to speed up everything,

If you're familiar with how software development goes, that's really how it is depending on the environment. You'll just have to live with that. Alpha->Beta->Stable is normally the process. There are other phases in-between with some companies. Like they said, they put in improvements from time to time. But that's not a priority. Beta is mostly for bug squashing and performance. So you'll just have to wait until that rolls in. All the best we could do right now is report issues and hopefully be addressed regardless of what phase.

Little add-on to this post.
As some side effects you can't use any kind of vivaldi specific key combinations on the dead tabs, while on every other tab this is still possible.
So "alt+F4" still works cause it a win native but if I press "crtl+3" or "ctrl+L" it doesn't. If I select a still functional tab with the mouse and use those they work again. If I switch through tabs by "ctrl+3" and come by a dead tab I got stuck.
just wanted to share this -
Some of us were running it for months on Win10. Apart from smaller styling changes (e.g. window buttons are bigger), there were 0 issues with it

Vivaldi in my PC was broken… There are no vivaldi.exe in task manager, however the installer says that "Vivaldi is still running. Please close all Vivaldi windows before continuing install". And No Vivaldi entry in program list of control panel...
Further, I cannot start Vivaldi unless I rename "User Data" folder. I think that some of my files in "User Data" are broken and Vivaldi terminates without unlock some files. -
Probrem was cleared. I restarted my PC and I was able to delete profiles, and was able to update Vivaldi.

Oh well, just gonna have to use Firefox for that until then. Take all the time you need.
But using Firefox I realized there's still a lot of performance improvements Vivaldi needs. Hope that too is a priority.

Since the latest Opera Developer is having trouble with the lastpass extension I decided it was a good chance to in the meantime use Vivaldi as my main browser.
What I am missing/have problems with most in order of importance:
- Extension icons
- Rss support (the smartrss extension should be able solve this until it is implemented)
- Fully functional "Clone tab" function… Please!
- Weird problems with not being able to play facebook videos sometimes
- Opening links from outside of Vivaldi changes browser to windowed mode (while it is full screen)
- Performance of speed dial page (slow to open relative to other tabs/ mouse gestures feel clunky when performed inside sd/ moving tiles around is painful)
- Start-up performance (I can live with that, and I know this an area that will be focused on later)
Other than that Vivaldi has come a long way and is certainly in a very good spot right now. Only a few more steps and bye bye Opera once and for all.

Today, the fullscreen videos are playing correctly on the BBC site in Vivaldi.
These intermittent bugs are the most frustrating to diagnose. I don't know what has changed. Maybe clearing the cache did it? Who knows? It might be too premature to close the bug report yet. Bugs like this have a habit of resurfacing later.

Thank you for the snapshot! I think "Always on top" feature would be awesome and really useful.

I'm not sure if it is a bug, but I just can't switch to the right tab (as it used to be?) after closing a tab. It defaults switching to the last used tab. I tried using extensions that would change such behaviour, but it always switch to the right tab first after closing a tab then almost instantly switch to the last used tab.
I don't know if anyone is like me, but I always open a few tabs at once when I scroll through, say, a subreddit, then proceed to read through each of them. The current implementation will cause me to switch back to that subreddit, which is inefficient because I have done about it and no need to reach back to it at the moment (except when I finish all new tabs opened from this subreddit, then I will go back to the subreddit tab change to other subreddit).

As expected, today the fullscreen mode stopped working again. Definitely a bug here somewhere.
