Snapshot 1.0.209.3 More visual improvements and better mouse support
-
Glad to see some very nice improvements. One small step for Vivaldi, one giant leap for nerds.
-
don't forget about importing from standalone installations of Opera 15+ though, I think that I do not need import since I have been using Vivaldi for a while but new users which are waiting for the very fist beta/stable would appreciate if they could import from portable Opera as well.

Order of Panels on Panel Bar is: Bookmarks, Mail, Contacts, Downloads, Notes.
Order of Panels on Settings dialogue is: Mail, Downloads, Bookmarks, Contacts, Notes.
It should be the same order in the Settings as on the Panel Bar.
-
Right Mouse + Scrollwheel is cack-handed — it should be Left Mouse + Scrollwheel.
-
It should be the same order in the Settings as on the Panel Bar.
Sounds just like my Technical Editor after reviewing my documents …

The Menu Bar really needs some access key shortcuts.
Showing the menu bar with Alt like other browsers or like Opera 12.17 in Fullscreen mode would be best, i.e. don't show the menu bar, just show the menus with Alt + Letter, e.g. Alt + F shows the file menu, Alt + T shows the Tools menu, etc.
-
Requiring users to remember a shortcut to show the cheat sheet for shortcuts is fundamentally flawed what was it again? F2 or was it Ctrl F1 or Ctrl Q?

Noticed some graphical glitches on Mac when the browser is fully maximized. White spaces at the edges are considerably noticeable. Using the Dark Theme so they're much more apparent.

You can't exactly tell from the last two screenshots because it's at the very edge but it's there.
So basically there are two on the top and two on the right side.
Oh and if you look at the first screenshot, the red traffic light button is already at the edge of the screen. (And no, I did not resize the browser to go off outside the screen)
EDIT: The white spaces were apparently due to my wallpaper. But I guess the issue still stands that the browser leaves a small space at the edges resulting in the wallpapers peeking at you, so to speak. And after a few restarts, the red button isn't at the edge anymore. Weird.
EDIT2: I guess it's not just Vivaldi that does this. I checked with my other windows and they do leave a space as well. I just didn't notice because Vivaldi is my only app that has a dark theme. Lol oh well. Scratch this comment xD -
Very Very slow

ahh, good news: you don't have to remember a shortcut …

Cannot uncheck "Notify me of followup comments via e-mail" here! Now i get tons of notification mails.

Like it's not doing anything at all?
-
You explained it better, and to summarize and make it even more simpler, please make it work same as in O12.
-
The 'Find' bar hasn't locked up on me so far but it's still early.
It tends to work as expected until some page length or complexity is exceeded, then I have to close and reopen the page to get rid of it.
-
Same setting as wardies, on a 64-bit build of Vivaldi, WIndows 7 64x.

Finally a new snapshot! Thanks!
One thing I'd like to see are pinned tabs being displayed as little squares at the top of the tab bar, when tabs are shown to the left/right side (as they are shown when tab bar is at the top/bottom). I think it would be more intuitive that way since I am not able to visually distinguish pinned tabs from normal tabs.
Oh and please fix that regression which doesn't allow me to create a tab stack by dragging a tab on top of another one.
You guys are great! XD -
Within bookmark manager I find it disconcerting that when I drag a closed folder to another closed folder an unrelated folder opens. Is this intentional? I wish no folders would open when dragging other folders. Could opening or not opening be optional? Also hoping for eventually cut-copy-paste for bookmark items. You developers are doing one sweet job on this project. Thank you!

You know…Not all these people get the idea of pre-beta testing so people as you (and me ) just have to wait with other which might be critical (again) because of some bugs.
-
I agree haven't used the import function YET as I want it to be finished and bug free when I do. As stated before I have SEVERAL versions of Opera to import from, hopefully there is a way to sort same urls or duplicate remove as importing.

Nope, nada, just doesn't do anything, right button down -> scroll -> nothing, release right button -> shows the right button context menu.
