Snapshot 1.0.209.3 More visual improvements and better mouse support
-
Keep up the good job
Since you're tuning the UI, maybe in next update you could include bookmark icons (inside folders) as well? -
Me too. Win7 x64, Vivaldi x64
-
yay! dark theme!
otherwise:
V-> "Import Data" -> segfault .. but I guess you know already
(debian8 x64) -
D'oh! I read that several times and my eyes slid right over it.
-
edit: woot, cant cycle with mouse between just 2 tabs, it runs in circle, still not good, but hopefully in next build.
This is my concern too…
"SomeKnight" explained it in detail... I would make it more complicated if I was to repeat it !
Just this : "RMB + WheelDown" Does't do the backwards thing as "RMB + WheelUp"... one must cycle forward while the other one must cycle backward... to be honest, I sometimes don't understand the way they jump between tabs : "WheelUp" jumps between some tabs and "WheelDown" jumps between others with no understandable order...
Also, when the mouse cursor is located at the top of the window (that small useful tiny gap where you can click on it to focus without changing the current tab), Scrolling to change the tabs, seems to not work....
-
It doesn't look like anyone has reported this, but on the extensions page (vivaldi://chrome/extensions) the "Load unpacked extension…" button doesn't appear to do anything.
-
Settings => Appearance => Use Page Theme Color
Settings => Tab Colors => Use Page Theme ColorAre they Duplicates ? if so, one must be removed…
Press "Ctrl + F" to open "Find in page", then press "Esc" to close it... It doesn't go away...
Visit a website... click on the website's Favicon in Address Bar and then click on "Site Settings"... "vivaldi://chrome/settings/content" opens up and shows some settings which are apart from Vivaldi's own settings...

@Sajadi:
What you could improve… That the theme color is also applied to history. Again... plain Chromium history is butt ugly!
Lol, true. soooooo ugly. I hope history eventually gets beautified.
-
Scaling unactive (bottom right corner) when on the Speed Dial page. This is my start-up page.
-
Confirmed: Enter does nothing in the separate search field to the right of the address bar. My settings: search disabled in address bar, separate search field enabled.
-
I'm having trouble setting keyboard shortcuts. For example, trying to set Ctrl+NumpadPlus as a shortcut creates the shortcut Ctrl+K instead, and Ctrl+NumpadMinus tries to make Ctrl+M.
This is windows 8.1, x64, QWERTY UK layout.

A bit hard since they built the GUI in Web techs … I agree that a totally native interface should be a lot way better
-
This is an awesome release. With the dark theme and the improved performance of the speed dial/bookmarks, I'm never going to any other browser. Cheers and keep up the good work.
-
I hope history gets speeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!! … It's damnly slow in:
- opening
- rendering itself
- loading the items
-
When Startup With setting will work? Bug is long existing!
-
Yeah, should have been fixed now
-
VB-2176 - Switch tabs with mouse-wheel over tab bar
VB-1760 - Add tab cycling via right click + mouse wheel
VB-1681 - (Linux) Mouse arrow keys not working for go forward and backThat's extremely cool!
This makes navigation a whole lot nicer on Linux. Thanks for the new snapshot and listing to your users.

Firstly, I love that we're finally getting RMB + Wheel goodness! The way I feel it should work seems to match that of others here. I can best explain it by equivalence to default keyboard shortcuts:
Think of RMB as the Ctrl key.
Then WheelDown means Tab and WheelUp means Shift+Tab.
So if we RMB+WheelDown once, then release, that should be equivalent to having pressed Ctrl+Tab.
And RMB+WheelDown again should again be equivalent to Ctrl+Tab.In my setup, Ctrl+Tab means switch to the previously focused tab. So RMB+WheelDown and releasing repeatedly means alternate between last two tabs. Same as Ctrl+Tab and release repeatedly.
Ok, I agree, this is not easy to explain but hopefully easy to understand!

BUG: [Mac] History lost in Quick Commands every time Vivaldi is updated.
BUG: [Mac/Winx64] SpatNav not working, or rather the shortcuts does nothing.
BUG: [Winx64] Quick Commands shortcuts/toggle not working/does nothing. -
Everything will get attention in due course. The browser is not long existing, (in fact is not even to the first stable release yet) so logically, no bug is long existing. You will note that adopting a new version of Blink introduced dozens of NEW bugs and regressions, and it was not even possible to tame all of those. So routine bug-squishing may be expected when a bit more stability returns.
