Tab stack tiling, on demand plugins in tabs, more mouse gestures, better import and a more snappy UI
-
Just use CTRL+N to open a new window, no need for a fresh install !
-
Same problem here. Also in this build, sometimes I can't use the down arrow to move through suggestions in the address box drop down. Both of these problems are fixed by restarting the browser.
Thanks for the extra snapshot. The UI is a lot smoother and snappier for me.

God bless you for Tab stack tiling!!!
Innovative features, listening to user, that's the way to go.
Just waiting for official extension support and I'll set Vivaldi as default browser. -
-
Search-Engine cannot be created on ixquick.de (it works in current Opera (v28))
-
loosing focus on input field when switching away and back again to vivaldi on many (but not all) pages
-
with deactivated search field the Vivaldi-popup is displayed cropped
-
very(!) slow loading of web pages most of the time (other browsers on my machine are much faster…)
-
CTRL + LeftArrow with "back"-functionality
-
suggestion: as in Opera 12 the little x on the tabs should be toggleable (I don't need it and it takes away too much space on the tab)
-
I still miss the up-right mouse gesture from Opera 12...
That aside: I love Vivaldi! Keep up the great work you already have achived. Cheers to you!

bug: 16+ rows of speed dials leads to the text overlapping
bug: when you "use as speed dial" on multiple bookmark folders, the folder name incorrectly appear in speed dial tab This is actually a refresh problem. If you restart your speed dial tab again, the folder naming problem is fixed
bug: Middle mouse to open bookmark in side panel or speed dial no longer work on bookmarks in folders that I "use as speed dial"
bug: favicon doesn't appear in folders in bookmark bar
bug: couldn't use middle mouse button to open these bookmarks inside bookmark folders
bug: adding new bookmark to speed dial, only half the preview image appear
bug: Inconsistency. In settings you use control-shift-v for "paste and go" for keyboard shortcuts, If you right click the url there control-shift-v listed as paste as plain text
bug: can not add new folders to bookmark from the bookmark panel via right click context menu. Right click a bookmark on the bookmark panel and select "New Folder"
bug:right mouse click bookmarks inside a bookmark bar folders open the page. Right click should open up the context menufeature: shift-ctrl-v copy and paste and go short cut appears in setting, but we need paste and go in the context menu as well. Isn't it time to replace "paste as text" to paste and go" since there's no difference between "paste as text" and "paste"
feature: need a way to sort bookmark in alphabetical orders with folders sorted at top -
Firstly, sorry if I might have come off as a bit pompous in my reply to you (cite a source).
Yeah, I get my 32-bit PPAPI installation package from contrib in Debian. Usually, this will have to be added after installation for some distros (had to be with Debian). Also, you can install Google's Chrome (sorry for swearing), which has a 32-bit version for 32-bit Linux and, as you probably know, includes the PPAPI plugin.
So, at least for now, us dinosaurs can still enjoy our Flash. Roll on HTML5.

while loading webpage appears to be faster and snappier, there are tonnes of feature bugs thats been around for a long time that still not fixed esp related with speed dials previews not loading
-
It is a little annoying when flash plugin is not visible and on demand plugins option enabled. There is no way to enable the plugin but to disable the option. Opera had a small icon in address bar and it solved the problem there.

1. Enter in address bar not working(when you edit, or typing text and nothing happens after press enter)….
2. Can't open sites from speed dial with the mouse scroller button(only click or right click and open in new tab).
3. Can close pinned tabs with mouse scroller button
4. Sites opens slowly? Or there is just a delay before the request and it's very obvious.
5. Vivaldi doesn't show save password dialogue.
6. Dragging the browser is very hard, almost impossible. The only place you can catch the browser when it's on fullscreen is under the buttons (close minimize).
7. Settings dialogue is not opening in browser centre. In extended monitor/s it's opening in first monitor.
8. "Download directory" can't be selected only to type it…
9. When you're chatting in Facebook chat and press Enter, the chat losing focus and if you try to typing again it won't be in the chat. -
Have you checked out the bookmark manager link at the top of speed dial, to see to what degree the actual manager fulfills any of your needs?
-
Better than this was the original Opera manner of customizing (which I hope they seek to replicate here) Where every button or spacer (fixed or dynamic) known to man for every kind of function in the browser (and many buttons written by users that the developers never thought of) could be dragged to any toolbar, any toolbar could be positioned on any side of the UI, and every bar could be turned on or off.
-
BUG: If I have a tab with vivaldi://mail (which is not working) other tabs will not be displayed after a restart, but they will be loaded and listed in the task manager. And it causes some other problems as well.
-
custom buttons with ability to replace anything in UI.. would be awesome. In Opera12 i replaced new tab button (+ icon on the right of tabs) with the same icon, but different behavior: when clicked - it simply opens new tab. But when i hold mouse button - it opens new private tab!
I also replaced show/hide panels button (on the bottom left, near sync status and opera turbo) with another + icon - clicking it opens new private tab, holding it opens new private window!i would love to achieve the same in vivaldi!

10. Youtube videos run only in 360p or less…

"1. Mouse gestures work in FRESH instance, but do not work in upgraded instance."
To reiterate the sense of my earlier post, if and when this bug is addressed, PLEASE PLEASE include a setting somewhere (and publish the "where") to allow a user to disable mouse gestures entirely. I absolutely don't want any mouse gestures, and have been fortunate enough to not have any in all of my Vivaldi versions to date (each applied as an update). My concern is that at some not-distant point, I may have to fresh-install and the gestures will suddenly be there with no way to shut them off for users like me. -

To my thinking, this is one of the Holy Grails of a truly customizable browser.

My most nasty showstopper until now has been the UI responsiveness.
As it's now quite better, my next big problem is the lack of frame, source and image operations in context menus (like they were in Opera 12, and like they are currently in PaleMoon).
And from the small irritations – I still occasionally get this odd bug of Enter not working in the address field. -
dragging and dropping bookmarks/bookmark folders and scrolling several pages up is still a problem
-
bug: couldn't use enter key in the url

This bug came back. Was fixed in previous version
