VivaldiHooks - more useful mods!

@npro That’s true, this could be a bug. Especially because upon restart the panel is still hidden. So why does the panel preserve the hidden state, but not address‐, tab‐ and status bar?
-
@luetage yep, indeed. Reported as VB-83126.

PSA: Latest Snapshot breaks Vivaldihooks startup, no hooks active
Reported as: https://github.com/justdanpo/VivaldiHooks/issues/77

This post is deleted! -
@guigirl I fear won't work as jdhooks scripts are written in react+javascript whereas js mods are pure javascript so yeah....jdhooks must be fixed to have working hooks.

@juanvase Read
README.md
-
@guigirl the current problem, afaiu, is that the way to access v’s internals has changed & the main file thus cannot get them & provide them further, be it read-only or read-write.

This last ~fortnight sans-Hooks has been unpleasant enough, but if it were to become the permanent new-normal, what is the least-worst strategy to adopt?
The third one.

Vivaldi updated today (version 4.3.2439.39). VivaldiHooks stopped working.

@guigirl
Yeah, exactly... Thank you... -
@guigirl Create a github account then you can subscribe to the issue.
-
@guigirl If you have a Github account you can subscribe and get notifications over email
There's also a feed option at the bottom of:
https://github.com/dashboard/
It's a feed of everything you're subscribed to though. -
@pathduck I 🥷 the ! ^^
-
@luetage You what the ?
-
@pathduck lol
-
@luetage Oh... I thought it was or something that rhymes with duck...
-
@rvtis Really. The same here.
-
@guigirl If you don't want to register you could "subscribe" to the owner's posts https://github.com/justdanpo.atom

@rvtis Welcome to what we Snapshotters have endured for two weeks. There's multiple posts in this thread about it, + there's the depressing...
that’s the fun with stablers. no, they can’t read last few posts in the thread, they must ask if anyone’s perchance observed something. they can’t check last few issues, they have to open a new one.
cc rvtis & buglocker. sorry, but it’s one of the many things that annoy me.

can i somehow create such a feed in V to that url
afaict github is very unfriendly to rss. you can subscribe to commits, but only to a single branch to a single repository [per feed]. you can subscribe to releases in a repository. as i’ve learned now, you can subscribe to all [unfiltered] activity of a single user. but you can’t watch a repo for any [i.e. all kinds of] activity, you must let github send it to your notifications. & you know what?, you can only see notifications if you visit github or if you let them be sent to your e-mail, but you cannot get them in an atom/rss feed.
well, just saying that i hate how they reflect being owned by msft. (or at least that seems to me as the most likely reason for their behaviour.)

@potmeklecbohdan Isn't gitlab superior to github, with regards to rss as well? How hasn't everyone ditched github from the fact that it was bought by M$ alone already?
