Web Panels not working anymore on 7.1

Hi,

after the Update my web panels stopped working. This is basically how my right-hand-sided panel bar looks now when I open any web panel:

I have gmail, whatsapp, twitter etc in the panels. For gmail, it shortly loaded the inbox but the panel turned black just like in the screenshot after sending a mail in gmail.
