Another possible parameter would be the number of results displayed, Vivaldi only display suggestions 5 maximum anyway, so if available, limit this list to 5 elements (setting it higher won't make more suggestions appear)
Is this 5 maximum suggestions limitation still in place?
@gaelle What's the status of the investigation? This bug still occurs in Vivaldi 2.7.1628.28. I'd like to come back to Vivaldi, but until this bug is squashed once and for all, I will have to keep using Chrome. ☹
@jacobmoon Hi! Thanks for your feedback about notes.
A number of user-made requests have been made about notes before see here
There's no real roadmap for what is going to happen to notes, but you could vote for some of those topics if you think they would be particularly useful to you.
@Catlan said in Autocompletion suggests random link:
I think they are suggesting to review the options Under "Address Field Drop-Down Menu" from within the Address Bar options in Settings.
Thank you, this was very helpful.
@ndat The example in your first post made it sound like clicking on a search suggestion would go to a URL related to that specific suggestion (i.e. example.com) and not a search with your search engine (i.e. example.com/?q=Test).
Your second example is much more clear and with your inclusion of type=image I can now see why you would want this feature. 👍
@ayespy said in Address Bar Search: Remove "Search Google":
@7twenty So I just set up an instance to search from the address bar with no drop down at all. How would you modify that to suit you?
I'm unsure where this is getting lost in translation?
The request is to remove ONLY that element from the drop down, leaving all the other options showing.
This post further elaborates what the first post showed and what is being requested.
