Snapshot 1.0.252.3 - Typed history dropdown, more polish on Web-panels and Extensions… and smooth scrolling
-
I welcome smooth scrolling. But the current implementation is really bad.
It's slow, and the speed does not adjust depending on how much you have scrolled.Opera 12 is the only smooth scrolling browser I know of, that have addressed these issues.
-
Do you highlight the bookmark first? If I try to drag a bookmark I have problems, if I highlight it first then move it it works as expected.
-
We have had further fixes internally since this build so unless we hit a problem I don't see why we shouldn't try to get a build out to you guys on Monday.
-
Heh, I like the message that appears during the cleansing of history.
And a bug: starting the browser all my miniatures on the SpeedDial are displayed as empty instead of pictures. -
Great! Now I can delete the smooth scroll extension from Vivaldi! Now I'm waiting when I can also delete the rss reader and e-mail-manager extensions!
-
You can always duplicate User Data folder to have all of settings, bookmarks, notes and etc.
-
I'll add it as an issue for us to consider. Can not promise if and when.
-
One thing we consider is an option to hide the title and button area. Perhaps from the context menu.
-
Uninstalled and reinstalled Vivaldi and all things Flash.
Still the same issue. I didn't mention it before, but it doesn't show up on the Vivaldi plugin page either -
Regarding Web Panels: with sites implementing responsiveness by dedicated URLs, how can I avoid redirect from the mobile to the desktop offering?
Thanks,
someone -
:lol::roll:

Wow thanks for adding the back and reload button!
-
thank you again and again. I appreciate fixing bookmark bar open in new tab, that is very quick and what it mean is you guys listening to us.
I have new issue but who can I attach screen shot -

I'm gonna try it. Thanks!

OS is listed wrong on vivaldi://about for OS X 10.8 and up (Apple dropped Mac from the name with OS X 10.8 )
Also on vivaldi://about (in the url vivaldi://about but the tab says chrome://version)

In Opera, I can assign a shortcut to toggle any panel with commands like:
Focus panel, 9 | Hide panel, -1 | Set alignment, "hotlist", 0
Is it possible we could have such shortcuts for Panels in Vivaldi?
VB-8007 is related to this.. It's harder to remember shortcuts that are not in sequence.

Here it is µMatrix which acts "strange".
In fact, for every session it let you pick exactly one scope by means of 1st-come-1st-serve (e.g. <vivaldi.net>) beyond the global one(<*>). Picking another site's domain for cinfiguration requires a Vivaldi restart. Since µMatrix's "kernel" seems to work fine (inspection etc.) it could be a gui issue "only".</vivaldi.net> -
I think jacekn means how are you going to signal the fact that when you press the back button it means back for the panel, or the web page? Unless the panel has buttons or edit fields, I guess the web page always "has focus". Maybe you want a focus frame around the web panel when it has been clicked on?

Refresh of speed dials does not work. I click the icon it turns like it's working but no refresh. Windows 64bit.

Is clicking and opening links from inside of the webpanels a thing that is being worked on still or is it just me having the problem? (e.g. clicking on a link in twitdeck doesn't open it in the main area)
Also I haven't found an instance where the "Back" button can be used.
