Snapshot 1.0.228.3 - With Chromeless UI
-
Following the release of TP4 we are back to adding new features. Today we have a particularly interesting one for those that want to make better use of your screen real estate. We have a new mode with no user interface at all! Use <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>F11</kbd> or <kbd>⌘F11</kbd> (on a Mac) to try it out. We also have a bunch more bug fixes!
-
Sync please. Please!
-
bug: Ctrl-F11 do not hide horizontal man menu. (native window = on)
-
Did not update automatically.
-
Please have mercy on us! Everyday new build!
-
It should. But only from snapshots. You're using TP4?
-
Don't worry, you'll get your weekend. ;P

Thanks a lot for the new build, quite a surprise at the end of an active week
However, printing is still broken on Windows 10 (version 10.0.10240 - which is rumored to be the final version). I can open the print dialogue and the left part of the window shows a blue circle, followed after a moment by the default printer and it's options. The right part of the window shows a message that the preview is generated and just before that preview is supposed to be shown, the tab crashes (dead bird).
This problem seems to be related to Windows 10, on my Windows 8.1 machine everything works just fine.
Vivaldi version 1.0.228.3 (32bit), Windows 10 version 10.0.10240 (64bit)

It is known. Just so you can follow it, it's VB-7812
-
Ctrl+F11 is very good but in this mode I can t access the adress bar for typing adress or open a new tab. Maybe for adress bar and tab bar, add auto hide function. Keyboard shortcuts and mouse gestures are not for me mostly

Thanks! Busy week indeed ….
And next is the traditional Monday snapshot ....
Or have you already something lined up for Saturday and Sunday :?:(Of course, we will all be expecting daily builds from now on ...)
-
Use F2 (quick commands) to type a url. If you want the speed dial/bookmarks/history, use Ctrl+t to open a new tab.
-
5 builds in one week. Awesome! Great job, guys!
Though there is one "big" feature that I really, really miss… Would it be possible to introduce the "Allow Empty Workspace" mode and enable tabs to be "minimized" like in O12? If a feature like this would make it's way into Vivaldi, I would be the happiest nerd on earth! -
Yes, this is known.
-
Could you implement Ctrl+Shift+V in the Chromeless mode? Or ability to copy url without leaving chromeless mode - for example F8 + copy copies the URL?
-
I can see that the Vivaldi button is visible whilst in Chromeless mode, so why not the Trash icon too
-
Ctrl+Shift+V not working is a bug. Thanks for reporting.
-
Or why not the [+] New tab button … but I think that would spoil the clean look. The main point is that this mode is for power users who know and use the shortcuts or Mouse Gestures.
-
Hi, thanks for the new snapshot.
I see that you have placed VB-3381 Middle-clicking speed dials broken when there is a scroll bar
When you will settle the same problem in the side panel of bookmarks? It will be made a trash for bookmarks? -
Indeed that is the primary use case. Though there is also the case of people who want to hide everything for a bit while they focus on one website for a while (toggle it on for a bit). You can also use windows instead or tabs and treat everything like its own webapp.
