CheVe11e_191 "stole" many of my ideas in this post, like all three having to do with Downloads.
For now, the only one that I can remember that's not on that list is a way (and it may already be possible through a hack) to maximize the amount of room horizontally for tabs so that they don't start getting smaller as quickly. At least on W10, there's a big space to the right of the "+", then another space after the trashcan, then the loosely-spaced minimize/maximize/close buttons. That all could be tightened up, and maybe the "+" could even be made optional (given gestures).

Developer and user ability to set accent color
(the color that changes depending on what site the user visits)Developer-side, some custom <meta> tag for instance would allow site developers to set the color in the Vivaldi address bar. This would allow them to set a color that matches the main color theme of their site, not necessarily the favicon one. (example : notalwaysright.com has a red favicon, but the site theme is dark colors, grey and green. Cases where the site has to use the company logo but another color theme come to mind, too.)
User-side, it could be implemented (I do not remember where i read it in the forum already, not my idea originally) as an option on bookmarks for instance.
Of course, higher priority would be given to the user setting, then <meta> tag on the webpage, then default behavior (favicon color).

There is such a meta tag already, though it don't seem to work as expected in Vivaldi...

Option for Warning Confirmation for Closing Window with many Tab
Pls add this feature asap, im sick of closing window with many tabs by accident. -
A good idea: A consistent tiled tab, that stays tiled alongside whatever tab(s) you pick on the other side.

Another idea: A video popup for sites like YouTube, where you would see the video popup in the bottom right corner of the browser for example, and you can browse other sites while watching your video.

@Kjell There was a lot of discussion regarding read receipts on My Opera. It was never implemented because it is basically useless.

How about instead of account based sync, active sync to a file? That way it could be put on a cloud storage, a local personal server, or even a flash drive and just carried around and Vivaldi will read to and write from it or something?
If it could be done with a standard html bookmark format then someone can start with an imported bookmark file and just save a copy of it to give to someone else at which point it would see the bookmarks as its own and they would have those bookmarks, instead of a true import/export. -
Adding custom search by using opensearch.xml when available. It will sometime include search suggestions url which would be very useful if it could be added automatically. It also usually contains favicons.

I'd love to have an option that every of my tabs opens muted.
So only the tabs i want to make noises do so.Thanks

@gaelle hmm... personally I dont'get it why there is such a pressure for releasing 1.6 ASAP...
It looks like majority of this requests (including really simple ones) will be just physically impossible to implement in 1.6 because of tight deadline for release
And with current thread creation rule (aka "one thread for one MAJOR.MINOR version") we will just have to.... uhm... copy-paste our posts?...
I think that it will be good to think over about best form for threads like this for future... -
Enhanced colour picker: usable everywhere in Vivaldi.
Useful for sites, .css tweaks, UI themes and so on. -

- Select the tabs with Ctrl + Click, or Shift + Click
- Right-click to pin them all.
