Tab management leveled up, more efficient browsing and squashed bugs: Vivaldi 6.9 is here!

@ArtemMoshkovich It just means the blocker supports more rules, nothing you need to do

@mib2berlin: No, not a novel, but I am a medical professional who writes medical papers and you can imagine how so many of the chemical terms can be annoyingly long .... But I do appreciate your humor, and - more than that - I appreciate the many times you have attempted to help me out with some Vivaldi problems.

@jsosmd
This is a bug and fixed internal already.
Stay tuned. -

Stay tuned.Thanks; the fix for the length of the title-rename would be very helpful.
But what about the lack of persistance? - that the renamed title does not persist when it is bookmarked? - is that a bug or a bad design needing a feature request? - having it persist when bookmarked would finally enable me to get rid of 2 extensions, which is, after all, consistent with one of the noble Vivaldi design goals!

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but now whenever I scroll through my bookmarks and close the side bar and then reopen it again, it automatically goes to the bottom of my bookmarks list. I'm pretty sure before this it either remembered your position/always started at the top again. I put all my most-needed bookmarks at the top, so I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

Congrats to the 36 people that wanted tab renaming since 2018.
Now if only one that actually impacted everyone using the browser (disabling directwrite font rendering) was actually implemented; something Cent has had for years since Google deprecated GDI rendering.

Vivaldi 6.9 is great here!
The best got better! -
@djbiker: The organized matched up tabs are great! In any case, I'm actually wanting to some time or another sync work areas, and open a similar work area on my work area and my PC.

@DoctorG KDE neon 6.1 (based on 22.04) NOTHING works, X11, wayland ... same response with broken process and after 4 times, crashed vivaldi ... Bad news after holiday ... So, I'm back with firefox and floorp...

Is there a option to disable "Tab rename" function?
I don't use that feature and probably never will.
It's annoying when it activates by accident. -

@barbudo2005
Thanks. That CSS method works!
