SpeedDial and bookmark bar dedicated to each Workspaces

+1 for this!

Another +1. This would hugely improve workspaces. With a workspace you are doing a particular kind of work, and that would usually come with a particular set of bookmarks.
-
+10 I agree. Allow us to choose (override) the SpeedDial and Bookmarks bar folders per workspace! This would allow both to co-exist, customize the SpeedDial and keep the workspace bookmarks organized in their own section inside the whole bookmarks collection.
This would be awesome! I'm migrating from MS Edge, had multiple profiles (personal, work, family, research), necessary before workspaces arrived and now this seems like the next logical feature that would really surpass separate profiles.
Similarly, History and Bookmarks search should be filterable somehow per Workspace. Then you get a full separate or not experience as you wish.
I'm excited to learn more about Vivaldi in depth, so far so good I was motivated enough to switch this week and am slowly migrating everything and making it home...

@brunodery Vote for the first post if you haven't already done so. (Voting again will remove your vote).

+1, this would be a good improvement.

Interesting use case, thanks for sharing.I can see how you'd benefit from separate Bookmarks for each Workspace.
Speed Dial is your friend and Bookmarks are dead and have been. Thus why the speed dial page needs to be made to allow for unlimited groups.

@CummingCowGirl Bookmark bar has been useful for me when I have work processes that are "drop everything and deal with X NOW". At that point I don't even want to open a new tab because the old tab is distracting, I just need to deal with the thing. I wouldn't count it out yet. Also, we're all here because for the flexibility and options.
-
This is also a critical feature for me. I would add that for implementation, it could (for my workflow) be as simple as adding "Select Bookmarks Bar Folder" as an option for Command Chains, as it would be simple enough to sort all workspaces into separate folders. If that is a separate feature, I can make a different request, but it's surely related.
I can see how that may not be an optimal implementation for other peoples' workflows who don't use custom buttons / command chains to switch workspaces.
-
I totally support this feature request. It would make my simplify my life a huge amount.
I am an architect and work in 4 different countries; each country i need roughly a hundred bookmarks, then there are personal bookmarks and spurious project bookmarks.
I have recently started using 4 different browsers and i hate this bloated approach.I was using Opera until 6 months ago rand had supported this feature request there several years ago; nothing ever came of the request.
-
This is the only reason I'm using Arc.
I would 101% prefer to switch to Vivaldi (and donate).
Hope this will be implemented soon.

I have two profiles, personal and work. Work uses SSO so using workspaces within work is a good way to both stay logged in but also create some separation between customer accounts in my case. A speeddial per workspace would be ideal.

I made an account just for this lol
Edge used to do this until recently. Now they changed it so each workspace has the same global bookmark bar as other browsers again. It was the perfect browser for me and this change disrupted my workflow so much I'm ready to drop Edge.
I came to Vivaldi because a friend told me it's very customizable and I was getting my hopes up that I found a good replacement.
My use case so far:
I have different workspaces for different roles and major projects, such as development, marketing, planning etc. Since each workspace has their own bookmark bar I was able to just put only the things I wanted and needed to see for each role or project. It was so efficient and helped me focus. Since workspaces were also synchronized I could just open up the browser on my laptop and was right where I left off, or I could use my phone to send bookmarks to a specific workspace as well

Curious if this feature is being considered. This is the exact use-case I have too. Until recently, Edge did this, which was the main feature which kept me there. Now they got rid off it, and I was hoping Vivaldi could do it, since a friend told me how customizable it is. ^^

+1 for this feature! Hope to see it implemented soon!

I currently use pinned tabs for this purpose, but having a dedicated bookmarks folder/bar or speed dial linked to a workspace would improve my experience!
EDIT: This is probably one of the most useful Arc features that makes it stand out.
-
This would make workspaces really much better and increased my productivity, +1!
-
I came over from Arc and I think this feature will be amazing! I think this might be the only feature I'm missing at the moment. I also have two different profiles but having separate bookmarks for the different Workspaces will be even better as it's so much easier to manage and transfer different tabs between them.
-
I need this feature as well, I own a tech company and a life, have A LOT of bookmarks on both, would love to see different bookmark bars for each workspace.
Please bring it to life
