Can we search Easter Eggs in this version?

I love the little rabbit

Weird, my 6.6 Standalone does not check for update.
The 6.6 Stables with Install for user on other Windows 11 accounts tell me that update is available. -
THX!
[Tabs] Can no longer drap and drop text across tiled tabs (VB-102564)

7th hoppy to update

Nice to see a lot of crashing fixed. Unfortunately, the crashbug that crashes on clicking the Help top menu (VB-103076) still remains in this version.
Yeah, many many tabs. -
Strange. Update notifier fails!?

@DoctorG
Hi, it's a bit different on my Windows 11 install, auto update was not working so I update manually.
Vivaldi restart immediately, the binary download was finished in the background I guess but I don`t got the message to restart Vivaldi.Cheers, mib
EDIT: I think that's why we have so few posts here, auto update doesn't work. -
@mib2berlin Please confirm VB-105196
-
@doctorg: Looks like winsparkle has a locale cache of the update URL. Either wait for a bit (it will expire) or check for updates manually whch forces it to ignore the cache.

Did not update after waiting hours. Very strange issue.

All the tabs in my workplaces got deleted after this update was installed
-
Massive screen tearing while scrolling started to occur. Don't know if with this update, or the previous one. Scrolling in Edge no tearing.
edit: another, worse observation regarding scrolling. Open tab with random webpage scroll a little bit - everything is ok. Open another new tab with random page, go back to previous tab and scroll. It scrolls like 10fps.
Smooth scrolling enabled via flags, because this setting is broken and do nothing since forever.

@enc0re Which OS? Trouble with GPUs Hardwareacceleration or GSync/VSyc?

I had different machines randomly suggest updating over the last couple of days. Normally they would all show the SysTray update icon once the first one had appeared.

@mossman Do you have how many 6.6 Stable and Snapshot Standalone installs?
-
@DoctorG Windows. Anyways, I just recall, that I disabled HW acceleration because of screen recording from F1 and forgot to enable again. After HW acceleration enabled back again, tearing is gone and scrolling is ok.
