Oh... forgot that i use a little app i made myself to listen to radio.
The app sits on system tray and you just need to click on itto listen. You can also edit the radio list.
Currently only in Portuguese. Not sure why i never got to translate it.
The idea was to replicate this Gnome extension to Windows.

Everyone knows IrfanView, surely one of the best image and multimedia viewers/editors, although unfortunately only for Windows. It may work on some Linux distros with Wine, but naturally an app with similar capabilities that works on Linux would be better.
There are many viewers for Linux, but this, only limited viewers, but there are only 2 comparable to IrfanView (naturally both FOSS, Linux and Windows)
Nomacs Image Lounge
and the one that is really comparable, even capable to upload and share an image (Imgur anonimously) and also to play mediafiles.

IrfanView 4.65 was released on 9th December 2023.

@Pesala, IrfanView is IMHO the best image, multimedia viewer out there, with no real alternatives, but sadly Windows only and proprietary, only free for personal use. One of the better alternatives which works also in Linux is maybe Nomacs (FOSS, Windows, Linux, Mac), other very good FOSS alternative for Windows is PicView, which I use currently, for multimedia files and streaming videos I use SMplayer, also FOSS (Windows Mac, Linux)

Not only this - IrfanView is free for educational use (schools, universities, museums and libraries) and for use in charity or humanitarian organisations.

I once had to check how it works under Wine and there were no problems.

@Ryszard, yes, in the past I use IfanView also in Kubuntu with Wine, but I think tha, if thee is a decent alternative for Linux, like Nomacs, that in those times there was not, at least I did not know it, it's better to use it. At that time I used IV with Wine, because what was available for Linux was too rudimentary for me, like a lot of Linux apps some Years ago.

XnConvert is provided as FREEWARE (NO Adware, NO Spyware) for private or educational use (including non-profit organizations).
Because IrfanView doesn't save WEBP files with transparency (or I don't know how to do it) -
Also a good alternative to IrfanView is PicView (FOSS, Windows)

PDF-XChange Editor
Build 10.2.1.385 (Released 22nd January 2024)
This powerful PDF editor is free to use, but with a reduced feature set. The features are more than enough for the average user. I have used it instead of Acrobat Reader for years now. It is highly customisable, and has features like Read Aloud Selected Text. This is far more useful than the built-in accessibility tools for Windows.

@Pesala Thank you! I will have a try.

I use Gimp and Photopea for photo editing, PDF-XChange Editor for PDF annotating, Krita for digital painting. OneNote for note taking, etc. All are free and powerful. pctechtest site has many good recomendations.

Xournal++ is an open-source and cross-platform note-taking software that is fast, flexible, and functional.
Xournal++ supports various features for annotating on top of PDF files.
The main way to interact with an external PDF file is to use the PDF file as the background of a journal. -

@Catweazle Thanks, IrfanView was getting on my nerves.

The best free Windows photo viewing / tagging software is still Windows Live Essentials Photo Gallery 2012. I've tried pretty much everything else on both Windows and Linux and nothing else comes close. Has easy photo viewing and tagging, and face recognition, and adequate image editing. Can be downloaded from the Internet Archive for free at https://archive.org/details/wlsetup-all_201802
When asked by installation, install only Photo Gallery. Works on all versions of Windows including Win 10 and Win 11. Free. Not FOSS.
