Add passkey support for Vivaldi accounts
-
It would be awesome if Vivaldi supported passkeys for logging into your Vivaldi account. Passkeys are generally more secure than using traditional passwords.
-
They don't integrate with Google at all so this will never happen

@mikeyb2001 This has nothing to do with Google. And yes, passkeys could be supported in future. You can already use a security key as a second factor for Vivaldi accounts, passkeys would be the logical step forward.

I would like my forum.vivaldi.net account to support passkeys, too! I currently have 2FA set up, but passkeys are more convenient. I would store the passkey in my 1Password account to avoid integration with Google.

Yes exactly. I use 1Password myself and would love to be able to store my Vivaldi account passkey (when supported) in the password manager.
