The Option to Disable the Confirm Download Dialog is something controlled by Chrome.

The thread was previously tagged as WILL NOT DO. Although the developers may want to do something about it, they cannot because the code would need to be kept up to date with each new build of Chromium.

The Vivaldi Team do not have the resources to do this, so I don't understand why the tag was changed.

You can see there is nothing obviously wrong with my fields in the screenshot, my email is the usual one from gmail, no "," in it, it gets autofilled because it remembers me from my hundreds of bug reports made in these years, and all the mandatory fields are filled as usual.

I reopened/updated these reports:
VB-55511 "Remember choice of download confirmation (Keep or Skip) for future"
VB-55512 "Whitelist download of some file types"
VB-22095 "Add option to deactivate the "Download protection" from Google"

This nagging download popup is a time-consuming nonsense!
It is easier to copy & Paste a URL to wget instead of having this Chromium sh.... blocking all the time.
