Floorp update brings
Split view
/though it needs to be integrated into
tst
as well... -
@npro ooooh, an update! my stupid modem refused to talk to the interwebz for a while after first power-on this morn, so atm i'm behind on things i'd normally already have checked, like updates. goody goody!
-
@npro is that now both mj and eos that've now [belatedly] changed their defaults to plasma?
-
in the translated release notes:
Several design settings have been deprecated. These will be removed in a future update.

I always forget how to get rid of those disgusting CSD-GTK-GNOME buttons
wasn't it ticking Title Bar in the edited toolbar? But iirc there was also a setting in about:config that I can't find...
Halp!!1!
-
@npro heehee, me be prolly not a good one to ask atm, coz yep i also noticed i've had these ever since my initial floorp installation, despite my disabling the native frame, so i assumed [without further investigation, coz me be LAZY] that maybe they hardcoded it into floorp?
-
@npro
browser.tabs.inTitlebar
...doesn't work
-

just this update broke it
that is odd then, coz i've now done two [iirc] updates since my initial install, & all three had these.
-
Did I tell that Floorp is amazing BTW?
Workspaces in different Containers as it should be by the book. In the Sidebar.
-
@npro yeah, but one thing i don't like is that pinned tabs in one ws still appear in all ws. bummer.
-
@ybjrepnfr with this atm,
CSD crap is gone, but it's at the bottom
-
@ybjrepnfr oh this I haven't tried it, you are right. . Maybe it's a tst thing? I 'll try it with the default vertical tabs later.
-
@ybjrepnfr i've just [again] retried the native vertical tabs, so i can use its context menu options, but naaaaaah, i just can't stand it. it's just too primitive compared to all the options i rely on with tst, so sadly once more i need to [re]disable it.
-
@ybjrepnfr yeah no. Nothing comes close to
tst
and the even bettersidebery
(very unfortunate that it doesn't work nice with the workspaces). -
@npro well, i've just checked my
nightly
'suser.js
, but there's nothing in that which is hiding the csd, & nightly has always reliably not showed those when i disable the native title bar. so, for whatever reason, floorp
has always behaved differently for me, in that issue. certainly i cannot explain why it only changed just now for you. -
@ybjrepnfr me neither... here's with the previous version...
/edit: actually... I think I'm gonna revert it to that
/edit #2: Tab Bar under Preferences used to have a "Normal mode", now it is called "Default", maybe that's responsible for it....
