if you want stability use Stable.

What the HELL is this transparent sidebar? how to remove it, I don't want it.
Stop using the unstable snapshots, is that difficult to guess? -

We don't moan and complain when stuff breaks
But we do and certainly should document when something used to work and now doesn't...

I have this left Panel bug too. I can't hide it by clicking on the
Show Panel
button or by pressingF4
, Panel is hiding but the buttons are visible on the transparent background.I don't use Floating Panel.
My Panel is always hidden, I rarely use it.
I think I found a workaround:
- enable a Panel Toggle (now you can hide the panel (!) with buttons)
- disable a Panel Toggle
This should fix everything!

@Pathduck I reported the bug as:
(VB-99178) Web Panel Icon Disappeared

🪲 Seems some favicons of webpanel and bookmarks in bookmarks bar got lost if a redirect while loading happened.

...Good to know, but the Ecosia search icon is still not displayed after this update.
But strangely enough, there is an icon at Ecosia in the search settings.

Another observation. If both the tabs are on the right as well as the panel toggle, then there is a gap between the vertical tab bar and web page in which the speed dial background image is exposed.
And I'd just like to re-iterate that it would nice if we could get back an option for the old behavior wherein both the panel tool bar and the panel toggle could be hidden at the same time.

has it suddenly become mandatory, or maybe just stylish, to post then delete it?
in a few ticks then i'd better nuke this one, otherwise... fomo
-
@ybjrepnfr Not really. One of those posters has decided no one here loves him, and has gone to some lengths to delete most or all of his posts, and the other commenter deleted her post which was responsive to one of his (now deleted) posts.
-
@Ayespy how terribly exciting! and the haters say nothing ever happens around here; just shows what they know!
-
@Ayespy I answered too fast and then saw after minutes that a mod has moved off-topic to new forum, i delete this old post and went there.
Sorry for disturbing. -
@Ruarí It would be useful to have some optimization, because the browser runs worse and slower and what not to talk about resource consumption.
And it would be useful to have an option to remove from the list of rules to allow ads of Vivaldi's partners. I warn you I know that it is possible to "supposedly" turn it off, but I would like to remove it just to be sure.
-
@MattSolo45 The partner list when off is disabled for real. Is true that can't be removed.
-
@Hadden89 It is possible that it is. But what's the harm in giving delete options for people who don't want it ? Well, I guess it should not really change and gives the user an additional option to choose from ?
