well, hmmm, trouble at mill.

i deliberately chose to not bother yet with the codec, but didn't expect [a s/i?] snappie to fail to launch, apparently for an unexpected reason [it fails to launch with my normal full firejail command launcher, without firejail, & barebones without any of my chromium switches].

@DoctorG nevertheless, still worked fine, until today's update... which breakage is certainly not firejail's fault, given that new snappie still fails to launch even when run naked [as my konsole transcript showed].

@ruarí: I have to manually delete cookies for unwanted sites(typical news websites like reuters etc), once in every few days. Pls add an option such that i can add exception list to filter out wanted/unwanted sites. So that upon closing the browser, vivaldi deletes all cookies except from the exception list.

I just want my browser to store cookies for sites i use frequently, like Google, twitter, tradingview etc. Rest all cookies are not necessary.

@Ruarí I did try the second one, but got into trouble. I was able to extract the compressed file manually, but then lacked the GLIBC 2.35 and V wouldn't start. So I bailed.

¹ If you do not know if you have a new enough glibc you can check this with ldd --version | head -n1.

Would save you trying something that could not work.

@ybjrepnfr You should have a crashlog. Can we have that? It will be within your profile in the crashlog folder under pending. Most recent file that ends .dmp.

Log a bug report on the bug report wizard, when you get the confirmation email reply to that with the crahlog attached. Thanks!
