--enable-features="SupportPartitionedBlobUrl"
Yep, that works for NRK. Also fixes other stuff like Twitch streams etc
Also fixes the stupid "browser detection" on
mega.nz

From a quick check, looks like blob urls failing:
Hmmm, could be due to something Chromium did last week, and which broke one of our patches, when we included new upstream 110-patches yesterday. (For reference, that issue is already reported as VB-94908, with a non-video-related testcase)
Maybe try to launch Vivaldi with this argument on the command line?
--enable-features="SupportPartitionedBlobUrl"
Update: That seems to fix the issue for NRK videos, at least
Life saver, I confirm that adding this commandline option in the desktop icon makes Twitch streams work, and I can save pictures from twitter using the Twitter media downloader extension! \o/
And a download from Mega.nz using its extension worked too! -
Hi, I reported VB-94717 - RPM package not setting up repository. I'm just curious what has changed in the way it sets up the repository in this Snapshot?
I took a quick look inside the RPM package and I still see cron.daily folder. -
@ian-coog: Same thing happens in WhatsApp Web.
-
Didn't update chromium?
also wrong X position

This has shown only the base version of Chromium for a very long time.
To show the actual version:
I think it's really time they moved that "hidden" feature out of the biscuit area and into the general settings...
also wrong X position
Yes, please report a bug.

How about split tab, combining two tabs, you get that, Edge Canary has that in some way.
Yes i know already requested feature, but now it's for real.
-
Wow, address bar drop-down is now much better (still needs to cycle once to display the optimal results compared to pre-2794.3, where they surfaced immediately, but much better than every version in between, which cycled through unrelated stuff forever).
-
@user1vivaldi There were two bugs. One was that the repo was not setup correctly in post install. The other was that the cron will never run on modern Fedora in its default configuration due to the lack of cron in the default install. I only fixed the former for now. Thus on installs and updates the repo will now be setup anyway. This is the more important of two issues.
P.S. Fedora and derivatives are not the only rpm based distros. Many of the others, like openSUSE still include cron in the default install. The rpm packages are for all rpms distros.

@pathduck: How do you add this command line to Vivaldi? You put it at the end of target in properties, correct?
-
@killchain: work around it with the same switch mentioned (now) in the known issues, it is related to BlobURLs

Yes. But note that this is a workaround for now, hopefully they'll figure this out before the next snapshot release so we won't need this flag. It's a pretty major issue, so it'll definitely get high priority.
Just remember to remove it when the issue is fixed, it's not a good idea to run with such flags in the command line unless for temporary testing/workarounds.

@ipristy: You mean tiling that they copied off us and we have had since day one?
-
@Ruarí To be fair, tiling something is not really a Vivaldi invention. While it’s likely true Edge implemented the feature because Vivaldi has it, tiling itself is common in many applications.
-
@ruarí: Cool, thanks!
-
Extensions issue seems to be fixed for me. I'll try to report back later if anything changes.

I think Odysee is also broken. Maybe somebody else feels like trying to confirm:

in this version the music on vk.com does not work
-
@ruarí: Not exactly, they have split view function.

@iPristy I fail to see how this is different. If you want one page to remain fixed while you go through other tabs, you can also just use a panel.
You are going to need to do a better job explaining exactly what you want and what you see the shortcomings of our version is if you are asking for this as a feature request. Saying I want split view is unclear.
