Then there are no way to read the change log, if the update is even forced on win7, sorry but this is on Vivaldi Team, they should not allow it.

Windows 7-8.1 user using this old crap

don't throw sh*t at Win7, it's still a very solid OS and if I didn't have a very old PC in 2021, which forced me to buy a newer one with Win10, I would still running it, like many others that don't feel ANY need to install Win10.

This was not meant as offence, user can use what they want but you cant run the latest, newest software on older OS.
Maybe for some time it work but sooner or later you have to change or stay at the old software.
You are absolutely right, Vivaldi should block updates on not supported OS, as I mention, I hope they fix this for the next stable release.

Lots of extensions started to misbehave with this chromium update to 110.*
It's like they get deactivated after some time!

Mega.nz extension - clicking on a mega link when the extension is active, results in opening a error message with url:
chrome-extension://bigefpfhnfcobdlfbedofhhaibnlghod/mega/secure.html#(etcetc)
and on screen appears

Disabling the extension, I can download the file.
Closing and Restarting Vivaldi, I can enable and use the extension, click on link and download it. After some minutes the link cause the same problem.

Twitter Media Downloader extension - Similar problem, the extension adds a "IMG⇩" button on every post, allowing to download the image, after having Vivaldi active for some minutes, first the additional button doesn't do anything anymore, and after some refreshes at twitter page, the button isn't even added anymore.
I noticed that all the options in the extension options screen vanished, none are selected

and in the Vivaldi extensions page it says the service worker is inactive

like it's being deactivated after some time.

Restarting Vivaldi, it returns "normal" for a while:

Update: even uBlock Origin after a while starts letting some ads appear, while browsing a page that hadn't any when opened first.

I already regretted installing this update.

I have the same picture.
But, service worker continues to perform its functions, I checked it on the extension that I made myself.

@janrif It means if you use Vivaldi's built in mail client to reply to an email, and automatically quote that email in your reply (as normally happens), new (additional) lines are inserted into the email reply, taking up unnecessary space. This would be a fix for that bug.

@iAN-CooG I can reproduce this maybe open a bug report. As a workaround you can go to reddit.com, then type r arrow back and then type slash. Then the slash after the r will work as well. The only thing that doesn't work is the immediate slash after the domain suffix.

Seems like it was something with my bookmarks and/or the local state. Renamed both files (Bookmarks and Local State), ran the browser again, signed into Sync again and so far it's running fine.

The top strip-line in speed dial containing speed dial, bookmarks, history etc. is pain ugly, white an uniform. Why can't it be transparent with the background covering it? You have an excellent browser customizing team and complete themes. Why don't you add this option? Also, although there is the arrow, the rocker gestures must work in speed dial. Now you cannot switch to the previous/next speed dial menu by using mouse.

@nutcracker If the navigation bar bugs you so much, disable it, and use other ways to access bookmarks and history, or ask in the Modification forums for some theming options.

The Start Page tabs have no URL, so the usual methods will not work.

The developers need to focus on higher priorities than feature requests that have simple workarounds.

The Extensive Changelog proves that they are working hard.
