@Ruarí said in Fixes and improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2914.3:
Youtube videos do not play if lower resolution is used
OK on 720p, not on 480p.

Great! This snapshot does fix the issue with the black edges on the browser window. Thank you for that. At the same time, though, the settings window still has a small, faint black edge on the left side of the window and the window itself still shows up as black for two to three seconds before showing options for the settings. I'd say progress is being made in the right direction. Thank you again! @Ruarí

Win7 has already been thrown out. Thank you.

@michael_from_germany: Use "Filter invert" from Vivaldi Page Actions. Easy and fast. And it works fine.

Chromium to 110 is the one that also drops Windows 7 support right? -
About that,
I'm pending to check since saw the 110 version, but:
On Opera happened the same days ago, despite was on 109 IIR.
The little research I did, through that msg would be related to .Net updates.I'll try to update it, you can check as well.

@Zalex108 Same here…
Previous Snapshot works well on Win7x64…
Even it is „advertised” as Win7 compatible
-
Yes,
But the Chromium version is upgraded 110.I'll try to upgrade .Net before try in a Standalone
-
For those in W7
-
@Zalex108 in my case, Uninstall and reinstall downloaded previous snapshot (Vivaldi 5.7.2901.3 x64) was flawless.
-
I'm still on 5.5
-
@Chas4 you try to push an old man through Windows 10?
