I completely uninstalled the snapshot version that I had installed, and now have this version installed: 5.6.2867.50 (Stable channel) (64-bit) , unfortunately I have the exact same issue with my speed dial page in the stable version as i was with the snapshot version.
      David 😞
Quick Update: Up until now I'm proud to say that I've never had to create an additional person to try & see if it would fix any issues I was having, but on this particular occasion I thought that I would and I'm at least so far glad that i did because my copy of this great browser is usable once again.
      David 🙂

Sync removed my thumbs on my Snapshot and Stable, too. Nasty issue!

Not for all it seems, my custom thumbnails on Stable are still just fine.

@jumpsq: Yes, it would also be nice to get a preview of buttons. Right now it only previews colours and window background images.

I wish that I could say the same thing concerning my thumbnail images on my speed dial, and what's even worse is the fact that on some of my folders on speed dial they aren't showing any kind of content, but the saved content is showing in the bookmarks area. 😞

It seems that a recent Snapshot has broken buttons in range controls for the Zoom slider placed on the Navigation Bar. The controls on the Status Bar are OK.

UI Zoom is set to 100%

[Themes] Background Resets after Reboot (VB-85062)

This bug was marked as fixed two snapshots ago, but I would like to point out that it doesn't seem to be fully fixed yet.

On some reboots, the theme background is remembered, but on other reboots it is not.

I cannot figure out how or why it only happens every other reboot now.

(FYI, this only affects default themes that have been edited to use a custom background).

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad!

                    Hi Everyone,
Rather than getting more & more frustrated about some items not functioning properly in the latest snapshot version I took the advice of a by the name of 'DoctorG' & completely uninstalled the snapshot version & then installed the latest stable version & at least so far this version does in fact seem to actually be more 'stable' (no pun intended of course).

Paste and Go works like a page refresh if the buffer contains part of the address. For example, page "vivaldi.com" is open and buffer is "vald". It's a pity that this annoying bug hasn't been fixed for so long.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that my bug report (VB-93768) was addressed. However ... every time I start the snapshot fresh, there is a dark edge to the side of the browser window. I tried minimizing the window to the taskbar, then opening up the window again. The dark edge was gone. Can you guys continue to investigate this? Seems your fixing the initial bug turned up another bug, unfortunately. I've also done a graphic (see below) to illustrate the problem. Thanks for your work on Vivaldi. Gonna tag a few people here to try and ensure this nagging issue is taken care of (soon, hopefully). Thanks! @Ruarí @atlemo @miky @mib2berlin

Vivaldi is the best piece of software ever. It is the only one I am looking forward to an update to see the fixes and new features. All other software is being ruined by new features.
