Anyone heard of Mastodon? – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2861.3

@AltCode That’s a good point, we should add the new emoji in the VFM emote picker
-
Congratulations!

@ender85: Please read the known issues

This version has changed my shortcut menus to 'light mode'.
Where do I change them back?
Before:
After:
(Happens on both Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian 11)

Try on a New 's Profile:
- "Right side" |
Rename it as Tests or something related, and use it as a Clean Profile, to test without custom configurations that can alter the original operation.
Since the result, check:
- Active Flags / Experiments or Switches
- Ad Blocker - Tip
- Site Data
- Clean Cache
- Clean Service Workers

I can confirm this as well. I'm on Mint 21 Cinnamon.

@luetage: It would be perfect if VIVALDI had the same theme as OPERA GX with its very nice interface and sound coming out when you type something in the browser.

URL of Custom Web Panel displayed in Toolbar Editor. No point in showing this unless it can be edited.
Reported Bug as:
(VB-93212) Panel Toolbar Shows URL for Web Panel
-
The icons in the Setting Dialog are washed out. Changing themes does not seem to help.
-
Hide / Show on Panel Toolbar context menu, hides / shows the Panel Header Toolbar.
Who would have guessed what it is supposed to do?
Bug reported as:
(VB-93231) Hide on Panel Toolbar Context Menu Hides Panel Header Toolbar
This problem arose because I modified the context menu to disabled [Toolbar](as Subfolder). There is no separate command to Hide/Show Navigation Controls.

I think Mastodon is a great band.
-
Volume on YouTube videos is extremely low.
Much better after putting on my headphones.

@Pesala Different colors can’t work on all themes. Either make your theme very dark or very light. Your theme’s background color is somewhere in the middle, which will clash with additional colors. I could imagine we’ll see more of this in future. This can hardly be made to work for all themes equally well.

@luetage Editing the theme to make it darker or lighter does not help. The icons should be black, like the icons on the Toolbars. There is no contrast issue on the toolbars.
Reported bug as:
(VB-93207) Insufficient Contrast for Coloured Icons in Settings
-
@Pesala Yes, of course, but than you don’t have the nice design. It’s a fact that we would have the best Vivaldi design, if there were just a few Vivaldi made themes, without theme editor and all the added complexity. Additionally maybe a very complex way for users to create themes with a couple dozen values to set. The freedom and simplicity we have by setting 4 colors does have its drawbacks. Let the designers have some fun. You can either fix this with CSS, change your theme or ignore it.

There are some impostors among us...
You can even place the address bar here!
-
I like the new icons in Settings, but I would prefer to have a choice in which color they are rendered. I use a sligthly modified Subtle theme that I find relaxing.
-
@atlemo: I have a dream where you apply also default nice icons to the context menus ...
