Linux: Second profile (was created in 5.2 weeks ago) did not open and showed a gray Vivaldi logo on gray empty window.

Why there is no option to add Bookmark shortcut in toolbar which is very useful? or at least add an option to show Bookmark bar in New Tab like Microsoft edge and Brave browser.

@ChristianM1 There is a Bookmarks Toolbar for that. If there is one URL that you really want on the toolbars, create a command chain to open the link, then add the command chain to a toolbar.

I prefer to add such links to a menu. This is the edited context menu on the Home Button: Long-click or right-click to open the menu. Click to go to the home page.

Awesome. In the next release please add a feature to show or hide the trashcan in the tab bar. I'm not Oscar the Grouch.

Edit (June 1, 2022): Someone told me that I could toggle that trashcan icon from the Tab settings page, "Display Trash Can".

Some users have crashes after starting Vivaldi.
The devs are working on a fix at this time.

️ If you encounter crashes, do not downgrade to 5.2!

@ChristianM1 You can upload images from the last icon on the message reply toolbar. This option may be blocked for new users, but you now have 2 reputation points, which should fix that issue.

I use some CSS to autohide the bookmark toolbar. It works on any tab, including on the Start Page.

it's the second time when you put editable toolbars as the title of the release while the feature is not finished yet
and this

giving you full control over your toolbar layouts

is simply not true, extensions are still tied as a single element and the sidebar is a completely separate entity

and again: I do understand it takes time and you have very limited resources, all I'm asking for is transparency and honesty

@Pesala The blog does mention that linux and mac versions are available and the linux version is being offered as available via the download page.

I don't remember we Snappiers experiencing these? Did we, & i've forgotten? If i've recalled correctly, then why would 5.3 Stable crash when 5.3 Snappies did not? Afaik this same pattern arose with several previous Stables too, when the Snappies were solid. I don't understand.
