https://i.imgur.com/po1863X.mp4Hello I have a weird bug where I can't bookmark any site the natural way.
With a search I found this Post but it's an old post so I don't think it's related. As you can see (or not) in the links above :
- I can't ctrl+D.
- When I click add bookmark in the address bar (Bookmark Page) all textbox are empty and cannot be filled.
- My only option is to click the "+" button in the bookmarks page (vivaldi://bookmarks/) or the side panel.
Edit:
- Yes, before I forgot I can select many tabs and bookmark them. (Bookmark X Tabs)
(Also I tried disabling all extensions and it didn't work)
I had this bug since one or two versions prior 5.0 releases.
(vivaldi://about/ ):
Vivaldi 5.0.2497.24 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)
Revision fedc9977d91d270b6659fd3b0cc8873ac07d1c0d
OS Linux (Manjaro KDE to add precision)
JavaScript V8 9.6.180.12
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/96.0.4664.51 Safari/537.36
Command Line /usr/bin/vivaldi-stable --enable-crashpad --flag-switches-begin --flag-switches-end --origin-trial-disabled-features=CaptureHandle --save-page-as-mhtml
Executable Path /opt/vivaldi/vivaldi
Profile Path /home/username/.config/vivaldi/Default -
Thank for reply.
Yes , indeed Menu Bar -> Bookmarks -> Add Active Tab, works just fine.
So I don't understand why other way aren't working.

@ecchi I have the same problem and found that I have to right click on the tab I want to bookmark and then "bookmark tab." There is some problem with the browser and I have not got a response from my post yet. I almost changed browser because of it.
Anyway, the workaround I found is acceptable for now.

Nice ! Another way around . Thanks

@doctorg Yes of course, sry.
This happens on the arm64 architecture using a Raspberry Pi.
When clicking at the bookmark flag in the address bar the dialog showing cannot be written in and it doesn't save the bookmark.
The only thing that works is by using the right click on the tab clicking on "Bookmark Tab" or the "Menu > Bookmarks > Add Active Tab".
