Address bar and its buttons disappeared

Address bar and its buttons disappeared from one of the Vivaldi windows i keep opened. How to i show it again? I could not find an option about it in the menus, nor in the preferences (but i bet the answer is probably something there).

@dedeco In the settings is a section called Address Bar. The first item is a checkbox to toggle it.
-
@luetage , yes there is. But it is already checked. In this window, there is no address bar in the screen. In the other 3 windows, the address bar is where i expect it to be.
-
@luetage , i tested this:
with focus in each of the 4 windows, i did:
- alt+p
- unchecked/check "show address bar"
- see its effect
- unchecked/checked the setting again
For all other 3 window, the address bar disappears and appears, just as i check and unckeck the setting. For this window, it does not! Keeps itself hidden!

@dedeco Maybe the UI crashed a little, close Vivaldi and restart.

This is something i take days to do. I only do it when my RAM+SWAP memories are full. I do not know why, but Vivaldi will taking more and more memory, as time passes, even though i basically keep the amount of things opened in it. When i close Vivaldi completely, 80% of the system memory is "magically" freed again. I do not do it more often because i also keep a private tab open, with some tabs in it - i use it like a separate profile, and something not associated with some accounts i do not want to share with any random site, basically.
This tab still has no address bar. I just started using Vivaldi again, so i have just 1 private tab open. I will use this to update Vivaldi, like i said i would do.

I updated from Vivaldi 4.0 to Vivaldi 5.1 now. I could not use synaptic to do it, due the error i mention in another recent thread i did. So, i downloaded the correct .deb file, and installed it manually. Everything fine? No. Now, the window which lost the address bar has it back on. Great. But all Vivaldi windows are not using the dark theme of my window manager. It is pure white, basically. Very bad. Do i need a reboot? Bad. I will not reboot so soon.

@dedeco It looks like you've been on an old version for a while. In the meantime, the themes have been revamped - if you've used a customized version of one of the default themes, you might have to customize it again (it's better to make a copy of it first and make all changes there) or find something new for yourself in the themes gallery.
@dedeco said in Address bar and its buttons disappeared:

You can always try to close and re-open the window which is misbehaving first, before restarting the whole browser (unless it's the private window that is malfunctioning - then it's better to save your work before proceeding).

The window without the bar was not private. But it had a few tabs. If i close it, would i be able to reopen ia, with all its tabs and their current history?
-
@dedeco Yes, you can reopen closed tabs and windows.
-
@pafflick Better be safe and save open tabs as session for each window.
