@treego that's where you can see and manage all the web apps.
Here's how to save a web page as a web app: https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/miscellaneous/progressive-web-apps/
I think you may want to address this to someone else ... I made no inquiry about this.

Thank you for this!

Beginning to wonder why i use Snappies instead of the cutting-edge Stable...

It's been what feels like so long since my last minor Vivaldi update! But I know y'all are busy working every single day on this amazing piece of software! Also, I'd like my medal now

Are there political reasons for removing Mail.ru?
You can assume so, and its certainly for the right reasons.
I assume that your questions are just meant to be provocative and ignorant, but I still want to make you aware that the Russian Federation has started an invasion into, a war against Ukraine about a week ago, which has been condemned by the UN General Assembly Emergency Meeting yesterday. (See also.)
Condemning the 24 February 2022 declaration by the Russian Federation of a “special military operation” in Ukraine,
I know that you have not asked what the connection of the aforementioned website to the state is here exactly. (1) It provides cash as it presumably pays taxes. (2) It provides visibility and could be used itself for propaganda. (3) I am not aware whether the Russian government is directly involved in operations or how privacy may be affected, but the Kremlin most certainly can exert some form of control over this website if it wishes, just as it can close media outlets that do not conform with their wording or agenda, just as it continues to punish anyone participating in demonstrations on Russian soil.
So assuming that some political influence may be exerted over that service and assuming that there could be political consequences for expressing liberal thoughts via mail when using their service, it straight out is Vivaldi's obligation to stop promoting this service. What does it have to do with my browsing experience?
Fun question: Precisely nothing.
You are not affected in any way by vivaldi cancelling its contract with any company or stopping to promote any service. You can just browse there as you can browse to any site you wish.

Reminder: This thread is just for discussing changes in the latest versions, bugs, regressions, etc. This isn't the place to get into a debate about geopolitical issues.

For those worried about the bookmark's removal, you can just re-add it yourself if needed. -

Why is this becoming aggressive out of the blue? I just wanted to know if the removal of the bookmark has anything to do with the current situation or if there are other reasons (e.g. a contract was terminated from the other party, the contract was limited to end of February, etc.).
How should I know the reason behind this? The removal was not justified anywhere and Vivaldi issues (such as VB-87133) are not public. The article you link does not state anything about bookmarks or contracts with Russian companies. The article is only suggesting donations and it was only published after my question.
In case you really want to know (you could have asked instead of assuming bad intentions): I, as probably most people, condemn this war of aggression by the Russian government.
So, please for the sake of keeping discussions sane, do some research before accusing people of bad intentions. A.k.a. "Who needs to think if they can just assume?"

@christian-rauch While I did not only reply to your post but also to the posts following, I did not want to falsely allege you of anything. But you also have not asked why Bild was removed for the German site, so there was some bias in your questions, I feel.
I'm sorry if I made wrong assumptions about your intent to ask this question.
I hope that the discussion can not return to vivaldi

Let's calm things down again by returning to our happy place of avowing how crappy windoze is compared to Linux. There... much safer territory...
